Downtown Home Directly on Greenway, Nice Deck!
This unit B is located directly on the Greenway (a trail that connects to downtown through greenspace), with a nice back deck and fenced-in backyard. Enjoy being centrally located downtown while benefiting from the peace and open space of being on the Greenway. Take a peaceful 20-minute walk or a 5-minute bike ride (there is a city bikeshare station just outside) along a paved trail through the Greenway to the new Downtown Transfer Co. Food Hall. Or take a 3-minute drive to the heart of Downtown Raleigh.
The space
This is a unit in a ground-floor, single-level quadplex home directly facing the Greenway for great views and an open, relaxing feel, which you may enjoy on the nice spacious back deck. There is a fully enclosed backyard for you and your pet to enjoy.
There is a good amount of off-street parking directly in front of your unit door for ease and convenience.
One of the bedrooms has a desk and deck chair for working. There is a mesh WiFi system for strong, expansive coverage throughout the property, with fast cable WiFi speeds of up to 300 Mbps.
Enjoy a peaceful 20-minute walk on the Greenway to the new Downtown Transfer Co. Food Hall, featuring a dozen trendy food and beverage options in a cool indoor space. Or take a 3-minute drive to the heart of Downtown Raleigh, close to Duke Performing Arts Center, Red Hat Amphitheater, Raleigh Convention Center, historic Moore Square, and tons of great restaurants and bars. Go for a jog on the paved Greenway trail just steps from your front door, which gives you access to over 100 miles of paved trails forming a loop around Raleigh through a series of interconnected parks and riverside paths. Walk 20 minutes along the Greenway to get some of the most sought-after bagels in Raleigh from Benchwarmers Bagels in the Transfer Co. Food Hall.
Rent an electric scooter (often found parked around downtown) or a bike from the city bikeshare, and ride to the nearby State Capitol to see the memorial statues. Grab a drink from one of the many breweries nearby, including Bhavana Brewery and Trophy Brewing. Walk the cobblestone streets of Historic City Market. Catch a show at the Duke Performing Arts Center, Red Hat Amphitheater, Raleigh Convention Center, or Lincoln Theater—all within a 25-minute walk or a 3-minute drive/rideshare. Or stay in and watch a movie on the Roku in the cozy living room.

Guest/Visitor Policy:
Please make sure you are booking for the correct number of guests. Nightly rate is based on guest count, so if you need to increase your guest count after booking, the rate may increase and any price difference must be paid.
Please understand that the number of guests you booked for is the maximum number allowed to be on the property, including visitors who don't spend the night. I'm a reasonable host - I do make an exception to allow for one or two short-term visitors during your stay. You don't need to change anything or tell me if you'd like to have 1 or 2 short-term visitors (not spending the night) during your stay. This is fully allowed. But if you would like to have more than 2 visitors on the property at any point or for additional people beyond your guest count to stay the night, you would need to ask me first and update your guest count to the correct amount. This may result in a nightly rate increase. Having additional unauthorized guests or visitors voids the rental agreement. No parties, events, or gatherings are allowed. Outdoor security cameras (can't see inside property) are used to monitor guest and pet compliance.
Pet Policy:
Pets are allowed with a $50 fee per each pet for stays of 4 nights or fewer (pet fee will be greater for stays over 4 nights, so please ask before booking if you'd like to check the longer-stay pet fee amount). You MUST let me know about any pets in your welcome VRBO message. Pet fee is to be paid after booking. Pet fee is NOT included in the booking price that VRBO collects, whether or not you mark pets in the reservation. I ask you to NOT let pets on any furniture or beds and to pick up any waste in the yard.

I want guests to be able to check in as early as possible. Due to the large amount of linens to be laundered between guests and the short turnaround time, the washer/dryer will often have linens in them so that another load can run after the cleaner leaves. You are welcome to use the washer/dryer but may need to remove a load to do so. If you know you will use the washer/dryer during your stay and prefer it empty, please let me know prior to check-in and I will have the cleaner leave them empty for you.
While you are welcome to use the washer and dryer, I do NOT provide laundry detergent.
If you have more than four guests, please note:
The space is 900 square feet, so with six adults it may feel quite cozy. Please set your expectations accordingly.
