VIEWS: Enjoy a unique lakeside front row seat on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. The views here are truly magnificent encompassing all of Queenstownâs iconic landmarks â The Remarkables, Cecil Peak, Walter Peak, and the surrounding mountains.
LOCATION: Situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac providing a safe and peaceful, yet central base in Queenstown. Restaurants, cafes, shops, and bars are just a four-minute walk away. Tahuna Lakeside uniquely has dual access to both Brisbane Street and Park Street at the front, which is an incredible lakefront address. The beautiful Queenstown Gardens are one block away, which has tennis courts, frisbee golf, walking trails, a rose garden, an ice-skating rink, lawn bowls and a fantastic playground. The popular Frankton Track starts at the end of Park Street, which is a gorgeous lakefront trail to go for a stroll, run or bike ride. Tahuna Lakeside is a convenient 10-minute drive from the International Airport and for winter guests, Coronet Peak ski field is an easy 23-minute drive away.
STYLE: Tahuna Lakeside captures the essence of an alpine holiday retreat. The older home with high timber ceilings create an airy spacious feel, inviting you to relax and unwind. With its multiple living spaces and considered extras such as the pool table, this home has everything you need for a laid back and comfortable home away from home experience.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS: Tahuna Lakeside features a total of five king bedrooms, making it an ideal choice for families traveling together or groups seeking ample space. On the main living level, there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, while an additional two bedrooms and one bathroom can be accessed via outdoor stairs on a separate lower level. It`s important to note that this lower level does not have internal access from the main home. The lower-level bedrooms offer partial lake views. The family bathroom has both a shower and bath, whilst the master ensuite and third bathroom downstairs have a shower only. All bathrooms are furnished with heated towel rails, hair dryers, and toiletries for your convenience.

*King split beds can be configured as two single beds, providing excellent flexibility for groups of friends, families or couples traveling together.
LIVING AREAS: This is an incredibly spacious room where the views overlooking Lake Wakatipu will instantly lure guests towards the picture windows. This room can also be closed off via sliding doors from the dining room and kitchen if needed. If you can take your eyes away from the outside surroundings, there is a pool table and 55â Smart TV to keep you entertained with lounge seating for eight. In winter, thereâs a gas fireplace for some aprĂšs ski ambience, and in summer there are two heat pump/air conditioning units and a nice flow to the outdoor entertaining area to soak up the fresh mountain air. The downstairs unit (with external access) has an additional living area, kitchenette and 32â Smart TV.
Please note this is not a party house and there are two MINUT audio sensors for Resource Consent purposes. These monitor high volume frequencies in the living areas which send instant alerts to guests and the property manager if the noise threshold is exceeded or a crowd detected. 1 located in the living room, 1 located outside by the patio (no cameras).
KITCHEN & DINING: The kitchen and dining are both functional and offer breathtaking views. Enjoy a picturesque lake view from the well-equipped kitchen with gas cooktop and the all-important Nespresso coffee machine. The adjacent dining area seats eight and again has the most fabulous views of The Remarkables mountain range. Step out from the dining area onto the front balcony where you can savor your morning coffee amidst incredible scenery. Additionally, there`s a cozy nook alongside the kitchen, furnished with a desk, providing a perfect spot for remote work if needed.
THE GREAT OUTDOORS: This home has the perfect backyard for kids to get out in the garden and have a run around and explore. The sunny and sheltered entertaining area flows nicely from the kitchen and living rooms, thereâs an outdoor dining table and BBQ. There is space for a spa pool*, providing the perfect way to relax after an action-packed day. With the lakefront on your fingertips, bring your SUP, kayak or boat and experience the best of Queenstown.

OTHER PRACTICALITIES: The double garage is available for guest use, and there also ample off-street parking on the driveway; a unique find with such a central location! There are also full laundry facilities.
RATE INCLUSIONS, FEES & MINIMUM STAYS:
Rates are inclusive of 15% GST, premium linen and for a maximum of 10 guests. A departure clean fee of NZ$450 applies. Minimum 3 night stay year-round, and 4-7 nights during peak periods.
PLEASE NOTE:
Credit card fees are non-refundable. This is important to be aware of if you choose to pay your balance ahead of the due date.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
- Tahuna Lakeside is a residential dwelling, and no parties or events are to be held. Please note that Tahuna Lakeside is fitted with two MINUT audio sensors which monitor high volume frequencies in the living areas for Resource Consent purposes.
- Guest(s) making a booking must be over 25 years of age. Any guests under 25 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of their stay.
- Please be mindful that the property is located in a residential area and be courteous to your neighbours. As per Resource Consent with council, quiet hours are to be observed between 10pm and 7am.
- We are required to take a security bond pre-authorisation hold in addition to the total booking price. (n/a to Airbnb bookings).
- A standard exit clean is included with your booking; however, you are expected to leave the property in a satisfactory state (clear and tidy). Charges may apply for loss of keys, excessive rubbish, sorting contaminated rubbish/recycling, excessive cleaning or damage to the property for example.
- Charges may also apply for travel costs and management/staff time if for example, having to make a dump run, coordination of tradesman/repairs, additional property visits, shop for replacements, and so forth.
