Aspen House

Fantastic views, comfortable beds and everyone gets their own bathroom!
This spectacular luxury holiday home is perfectly positioned in Sunny Aspen Grove, only five minutes drive from central Queenstown. The uninterrupted views that Aspen Grove is famed for over Lake Wakatipu to the Remarkables are truly stunning for all who stay.
Each room is furnished with its own large flat screen TV and the underfloor heating throughout the entire house ensures warmth in the colder months.
The outdoor Hot Tub is private but still captures the views around.
The gourmet kitchen is adjoined to the main lounge and dining area which leads to an external deck, catching the morning sun - ideal for breakfast.
We have a Ski drying unit in the garage which is an added bonus.

In fairness we actually didn’t stay at the property as the host failed to provide access to the property and remained uncontactable on the day of check-in. Obviously this created unnecessary stress for my family of 8 adults and 1 child as we sought to find alternative accommodation for the 3 nights of our intended stay in Queenstown. Fortunately, the VRBO care policy ensured that we received an immediate refund and covered the increase in cost for alternative accommodation which we were eventually able to secure after a considerable search. Whilst the host eventually responded the next day and offered for us to stay free of charge, we had already committed one night accomodation at our hotel and would have incurred cancellation fees for the remaining nights. We were also settled as a family and did not want further disruption to our holiday. To say we were disappointed really is an understatement. As a host if you are intending to be out of the country during a rental period, for goodness sake organise a local contact, and make sure the phone number you have listed is reachable.

We were thoroughly delighted with the house - sensational views and everything we could need to ensure we had an enjoyable, hassle-free stay. Kitchen was well equipped and appliances easy to operate. There was plenty of glassware and crockery etc and we really liked the little dishes for pre-dinner nibbles.The walk up the hill is bit of a challenge but the no.1 bus from 'downtown' is a good alternative.Snow was disappointing but breathtaking views from the top and 'interesting' roads made it all worthwhile.We would recommend a trip to Arrowtown and Glenorchy (another great drive).

Best Views in Queenstown!

We couldn’t have asked for better accommodation. The amenities were great and the house was well presented with everything we needed for our stay. The view of the lake and The Remarkables was something else, absolutely breathtaking! Highly recommend this property.

4 Nights in Luxury

Blown away. The view was insane. The house was so clean. It was very comfortable for us five adults with the four bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice path to get into town, or an easy walk up to the market and nearby restaurant. Very helpful host and property manager. They thought of everything to make for a lovely stay.

Hens Weekend

Perfect for our Hens bridal weekend. Lots of personal privacy, foxs could hide in separate rooms off a long hall, lots of bathrooms. Kitchen living dining great for a big group, very homey. Nice big Deck with the Remarkables view. Dissapointingly the SPA wasn't working (thats a reason i chose it......)- i didn't stay in the house long enough to find out what else was not up to brief. I think Poor form Queenstown for not delivering what you promise in your offers.

Captivating Stay

Aspen house is a stunning residence that allows you to soak in the magic of Aotearoa. We literally woke up to the long white cloud skimming across the lake! The house is so spacious and THE cleanest accommodation I've stayed in. Especially for such a large house. We're looking forward to visiting again! Thank you!

What a fantastic house! The views were absolutely breathtaking. The house had everything we could hope for. Extremely well set up to cater for 2 families of 4 with ensuite’s for each room! Spa was also a great bonus after a day on the slopes. Have raved on about this place to my friends. Definitely recommend it.
