Hidden away from the buzz of the coast is a rustic and exemplary property located in the beautiful region of Girona, specifically in the Gavarres Nature Reserve. Villa Oms is a 600 m2 old Catalan masia from the 15th century, which was entirely refurbished in 2020 and is an ideal property for large groups who are looking to reconnect whilst on holiday. The exterior of this property is home to a stellar collection of amenities, such as an expansive swimming pool that resides in the centre of the grounds. This is an ideal spot for children to play exciting games whilst the grown-ups relax in the blazing heat of the sun. A key element of this property is its large collection of outdoor terraces, helping to extend its community-like feel. As such, guests can use a wealth of outdoor seating and dining areas to enjoy a range of delicious meals as well as a stunning array of views.
 
Inside, this property exudes a very rustic and traditional theme, helping to make guests feel right at home. The ground floor is home to a collection of premium amenities, such as an elegant massage parlour. Therefore, guests are free to ease their tired and aching muscles at any point throughout their stay. The main centrepiece of this space is the decadent piano, meaning that guests can listen to delicate music throughout their expressive stay. The ground floor is also home to three state-of-the-art bedrooms. The first bedroom contains a double bed as well as a pair of single beds, making it a suitable space for families to gain a restful night's sleep. The second bedroom includes a spacious queen-sized bed that has been decorated with ample linens. In turn, guests can snuggle up under the covers after a busy day of exploring the local sights. The third bedroom includes another double bed, making it ideal for couples.
 
Moving up to the first floor, this is where you'll uncover a majority of the main living areas. The living area presents a range of comfortable seating arrangements, each of which is decorated with a collection of plush pillows. Thus, guests can use this space to kick back and relax as they reminisce about their favourite parts of the trip. The dining area showcases a variety of tables and chairs, allowing guests to either come together as a group or detach for some alone time. The kitchen within this villa is incredibly expansive, making good use of a sleek breakfast bar and an assortment of high-end appliances. This floor is also home to the remaining three bedrooms. The fourth bedroom mirrors the first, including both a double bed and a pair of single beds. The fifth and sixth bedrooms both host very luxurious king-sized beds.

Guests should be aware that the owners have plans to install air conditioning in all of the bedrooms, ready for bookings in 2025!

Girona is an incredibly vast and exquisite region, helping guests to discover an array of landmarks throughout their travels. If you wish to explore this region from new heights, a tour across the Eiffel Bridge is an ideal way to do so. This bridge was constructed by the acclaimed Gustav Eiffel and actually predates the Eiffel Tower, making it a very significant attraction across the region. Guests can trek along the length of this extensive monument and take in the sights of the Onyar River. As one of the most famous landmarks in the entirety of Girona, guests are encouraged to take their time and marvel at the tremendous sights that surround them. The Eiffel Bridge can be found just 30 minutes away from the villa, and from there, guests can go on to explore the rest of Girona.
 
Girona Cathedral is a deeply moving religious monument that is situated just under a 10-minute walk from the Eiffel Bridge. Perched on top of a very vast hill, guests must travel up the various steps in order to gain a glimpse of this grandiose building. Once inside, guests can observe an abundance of artefacts and fluters, helping to extend their understanding of this quaint city. Moreover, due to the sheer height of this cathedral, guests can also bask in a series of remarkable panoramic views, giving them a better look at some of the area's hotspots. As such, this is an ideal landmark to visit if you are looking to combine history with amazing views.
 
If you are a fan of all things fantasy, a Game of Thrones Walking Tour is a real treat. Girona was a key filming location for the series and depicted the fictional region of Braavos throughout the sixth season, making it a fantastic destination for any avid fan. Beginning at the local cathedral, guests will meander through the idyllic Jewish Quarter to discover how the cast and crew transformed this quiet area into an unbelievable world. The experienced tour guide will also provide comparison shots to offer a more comprehensive understanding of how the monuments were used in the show. A standard tour lasts for around two and a half hours and is available in both Spanish and English, making it suitable for foreign travellers.

Four e-mountain bikes can be provided during your stay at an extra cost of €50 per day, to be paid before arrival. Please request this extra during the booking process.
