Hébergement: La casa peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 8 personnes dans deux ailes de chambre identiques. Chaque aile comprend une chambre principale et une chambre secondaire séparées par une grande salle de bain commune. Les chambres principales ont des lits king-size; les chambres secondaires ont un lit queen et un lit simple. Toutes les chambres sont équipées de la climatisation à réglage individuel. Tous les draps et les serviettes sont fournis.

Grande salle: Cette grande salle spacieuse comprend des coins repas et divertissants. De grandes portes moustiquaires s'ouvrent sur la piscine et une vue panoramique sur l'océan. La table à manger peut accueillir confortablement 12 personnes et dispose d'un wet-bar adjacent équipé d'un réfrigérateur et d'un casier à vin. Le bar du petit-déjeuner pour 4 est situé sur le passage vers la cuisine entièrement moderne. La salle d'eau est idéalement située à la porte d'entrée. Le salon comprend une télévision à écran plasma de 42 ', une réception satellite et une grande bibliothèque de livres, films et jeux.

Espace piscine: Rafraîchissez-vous dans la piscine d'eau salée à débordement de 10 mx 5 m. Les repas en plein air et les divertissements sont complétés par le rancho avec barbecue et le kiosque couvert conçu pour les repas, les farniente et, à l'occasion, l'observation des baleines. L'accès aux toilettes est pratique pour la piscine. Les serviettes de piscine sont fournies.

Personnel Casa: Inclus dans la location sont les services du personnel de la casa, Ana et Freddy, qui ont un appartement privé dans la casa. Ana assure la préparation des repas, le ménage et la lessive personnelle. Freddy entretient la piscine et la propriété. Ana et Freddy sont disponibles six jours par semaine. Nous vous suggérons de découvrir l'un des nombreux excellents restaurants de la région le dimanche, leur jour de congé.

The house was absolutely amazing, the views could not be beat. We spent most of our time enjoying the outdoor patio and the pool. But what made the stay perfect was the Ana. She cooked the best food and was such a nice person. She helped us out with whatever we needed during our stay including any excursions we wanted to go on. It was a real treat to have breakfast and dinner each day. We left already wanting to go back. Would definitely stay again.

We had an incredible stay! Ana, the in-house chef, was absolutely fantastic—her meals were delicious and her local recommendations made our trip even better. The property itself was spectacular, beautifully maintained, and perfect for relaxing. The views were absolutely stunning, and the sunsets were unforgettable. The surfing in the area is excellent, and the home is truly great for all ages. We would highly recommend this property and can’t wait to return.

This looked amazing online and when we arrived, our kids said “ this place is even better than the pictures show “! Wendy was an amazing host who helped us with transportation, additional hotel stays in the area, and every recommendation we needed. Casa de la Loma exceeded our expectations and this was a bucket list trip. The amenities, the mesmerizing view of the ocean and the wonderful food & service provided by Anna & Freddy made this week so enjoyable. Anna was a joy to be around and so knowledgeable of the area, but her cooking was the icing on the cake. Nothing like “happy hour” around the pool and having a wonderful dinner at 6pm without lifting a spoon! This became our favorite time of day for our family watching beautiful sunsets and anticipating a scrumptious dinner.

There are honestly not enough words to be able to express how extraordinary this trip was for our family. The location is extraordinary. Ana and Freddie are the most amazing caretakers. They truly felt like our family by the end of the trip. The food that Ana cooked was spectacular. Our pickiest young eaters ate food they had never tried before and loved it. It almost felt like we were on a health trip because of how high-quality and delicious the meals were. The pool was a breathtaking view over the pacific, and the sunrises and sunsets could not be beat. We try to go someplace new every year for spring break, but it’s going to be hard not to just keep returning to this location. I’m almost afraid to recommend it too highly because I’m afraid it will always be booked and we won’t be able to return. A million stars.

We are so thankful for our wonderful stay at this property. It surpassed everything we were expecting. Ana and Freddy are the absolute best. Ana is a superior cook and was so helpful in planning all our activities. Freddy was a diligent hard worker up at the crack of dawn every day cleaning the pool and property. We were so sad to leave. Casa de La Loma is such a relaxing, beautiful place. There is plenty of space and Ana and Freddie make everything so easy. It’s a place to truly relax and get some family time. I would recommend this home to anyone and everyone.

We had an amazing week at Casa de Loma. Anna and Freddie were awesome and Anna is a super good cook. The property has an amazing view and accommodations. One thing to keep in mind is that if you are renting a car, you should rent a car with a four-wheel-drive because the hill up to the property is very steep. Overall would recommend this property to two families traveling together.

Didn’t want to leave the House

Six of us came to Costa Rica to celebrate some of us turning 50. We could not have chosen a more perfect home. We loved this house so much, we could not wait to come home and relax, eat the amazing food made by Anna, watch the sunset, and hang out (for hours) in the infinity pool. It really was paradise.

We can't say enough good things about Casa de la Loma. The pictures truly don't do it justice. The view is stunning and we found ourselves enjoying most of our meals outside. Ana and Freddy do an excellent job preparing meals and keeping the grounds clean. The beef tenderloin with the green peppercorn sauce was delicious, and was one of our favorite meals. Freddy makes the best mashed potatoes! Ana prepared most of our meals, cooking a variety of cuisines, including Costa Rician fried rice and fries plantains. She knew who to recommend for activities and had all our excursions within minutes. Hands down, this was our favorite vacation, and we're wanting to go back already!

The Great Escape

The property is beautiful with a great view of the Pacific Ocean. About 250 feet above the ocean there we could still hear the pounding of the wave on the rocky beach. The pool was a real treat and we all loved it. Anna and Freddie were great and their presence added to our enjoyment of the home. Fantastic sunsets every evening!

As noted in many previous reviews, this house is in a class of it's own. It's perfect. Anna and Freddie make you feel like you are in your own vacation home. Just popping down for a visit. Excellent food, very comfortable furnishings and appointments, incredible views, and over the top meals. Anna, love your arroz con pollo and perfectly prepared mahi mahi we caught with Byron and Norman. We love the Nicoya Peninsula and this is a hidden gem that should not be missed.

Rest assured, you can stop searching and adding potential properties to your trip board...JUST BOOK THIS PROPERTY! We booked this house for two adult couples and it was beyond perfect - we could have stayed forever! The property is clean, peaceful, well appointed and beautifully situated. Ana is a treasure! Best home to rent in Costa Rica

We had the most amazing time at Casa de la Loma. We arrived and Ana and Freddy were there to greet us and when we walked into the home just as the sun was setting it literally took our breath away. The pictures don’t begin to show the beauty of this place. A 4 wheel drive is needed to get up the last hill but it’s not scary at all - and I’m a wimp. The town of Samara is very close if you can tear yourself away from the home. And I don’t even know where to begin to praise Ana’s‘s cooking and her attention to every detail. On top of that the pool is so wonderful with the view spread out below you as you sip a cold drink. Don’t miss the chance to stay at this wonderful home.

Outstanding vacation spot!

10 stars! So many positives! The views from the house are beyond beautiful. The house is very clean and well maintained and in a very safe location. Ana and Freddy are helpful, kind and very good cooks. Ana helped make all local arrangements and recommendations for our family (3 adults 2 kids ages 8 and 10) which were great. The only downside (which we expected so we weren't too surprised) was the power went out 3 different days....one day it was out 5 hours. Overall such a beautiful experience. You won't want to miss this vacation spot!

Perfect dream vacation for all!

The home was PERFECT and all things listed online about the house from Wendy (owner) and all reviews were 100% correct! The home is gorgeous and we felt comfortable and pampered from the point we arrived from Ana and Freddy! The communication with Wendy is quick and helpful - she was always available with any questions or changes! The food was amazing and Ana even cooked a yellowtail that we caught that day! All reviews say Ana will help with excursions upon arrival (which made us - typical over planners a bit nervous), but within our first hour Ana helped us set up everything we were hoping to do and more! I would strongly recommend this home to anyone looking for a dream vacation! We will be back! Thank you Wendy, Ana and Freddy!

Beautiful setting and delicious food!

There are a few things travelers should know that are not specified in the listing. This is not a typical VRBO. The listing refers to Ana and Freddy as caretakers. In reality, they are constantly present. They live in the lower level of the house. In addition, we were scolded for having friends visit us at the house. We were told it was rude and we needed to ask for permission. Also, travelers are expected to tip 5 to 15 percent on the accommodation.

Wow - the views

To start, Wendy was a true host and helped us with planning in advance. Communication was excellent. Upon arrival, Anna & Freddie greeted us and were wonderful hosts throughout. The house was amazing. The views, the pool, the beds, the showers. The proximity to Playa Carillo and Playa Samara was ideal. We loved the town of Samara, which seemed to retain the charm of a local town but had everything we wanted or needed. We had two families of four with four adults and four teenagers. Everyone loved it. We enjoyed having breakfast and dinners at home prepared by Anna. Anna was very helpful to us with making calls, setting up excursions, etc. Our favorite part of the day was sitting outside in the morning having coffee. As advertised, a 4WD is an absolute requirement. The only place you will need it is getting up the hill to the driveway but you will need it. If we ever return to the area it would be hard to imagine staying anywhere else!

This property was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The pictures are accurate but the sunset in person is truly amazing. A 4 wheel drive is a must for this area in general if you want to venture out and about. We enjoyed every minute poolside. Meals were delicious and prepared with love. Know that meal time is set and not flexible. The common areas of this home are not air conditioned so your only retreat from the heat is the pool or your bedroom (we were instructed to turn our air off when not in our room). I understand conservation but at the same time we paid for this house and we were on vacation. This rule was tough on the older people in our group that needed a reprieve from the heat without having to wait for a room to cool down. We were greeted each morning by the sounds of howler monkeys, got to see one mama and baby from the pool on our last day.
