Welcome to your executive home away from home, secluded on exclusive Hanalei Plantation Road and walking distance to one of the North Shore's best-kept secret beach trails.  

Please note, the neighboring home is undergoing construction thus noise should be expected.

This stunning three-bedroom home features dual master suites with sweeping ocean and mountain views from your king sized bed. Main Master bedroom has an en suite spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upper Master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate bathtub. Next to the kitchen is an additional bedroom with a twin trundle bed and half bath & Laundry. Home also includes a private lanai, flat screen TV, and an independent work space with high-speed internet.  

The home also features a chef's kitchen with plenty of space to prepare gourmet meals as well as an open concept living area with louvered windows and cool trade winds that flow throughout. The main living area opens up to a magnificent lanai with unobstructed ocean and sunset views from your very own infinity pool. Newly added 8 foot by 42 foot heated lap pool that is heated to mid 80's in mid afternoon, year round in addition to the small pool with a heated tub (no jets)! Due to the high cost of gas, the use of the heated tub will incur a fee of $150 per day. Please contact us if you would like to add this to your reservation.

This home also features a wonderful "secret garden" ; complete with stone steps that meander through an orchard of mango, citrus, and avocado trees.  The back of the house also features a terraced garden with an impressive variety of native plants. Relax and unwind in this unparalleled tropical paradise. This home sits on a sleepy street perched high above Hanalei Bay and is in a perfect location to access all this magical island has to offer.

Relaxing Stay

We had a lovely, relaxing stay in Princeville (our third stay on the North Shore). Pros: - Beautiful, well-maintained pools that are the perfect temperature - Walking distance to a great food spot and a quiet, nearly secluded beach. - Well maintained home that’s equipped with most everything you need for a comfortable stay - Scenic views from many of the windows Cons: - Neighboring houses are very close. We had several nights with very loud vacation renters next door that kept us up at night with their voices and music. Princeville security helped somewhat, but it wasn’t ideal - Communication from the management company could have been improved. - Not necessarily a con, but we’ve never had as many geckos in our Princeville vacation rentals as we had here. Our child loved the nightly friends we found on our beds, but some may not. - Upstairs bedroom needs better privacy. We felt very exposed with sheer curtains in the bedroom and bathroom. When the loud neighbors had their lights on all night, that’s what we could see from our bed. If you’re sensitive to light at night, it quickly becomes a problem. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but would likely look for a more secluded home next time.

Beautiful home in amazing location!

The photos of this home are accurate. The place was spotless when we arrived. The location is just what we wanted, a quiet residential neighborhood with an ocean view, not far from the amenities. My friend stayed with me for the first half and my sister for the second half. My only issue was with the property manager. I was told by Hawaii Life to reach out to him. He did not respond to my first text. The second text involved a broken window shade chain. I received a response to that. The third request involved outside lights that would not turn off. His response was to ask if I had tried the on/off switch. I have been practicing law for over 35 years. My sister is a board certified internist. We know how to turn a switch on and off. This issue was never resolved, so we threw a towel over the outside light. The final text involved the t.v. set in the living room not working on the last night of our stay. the property manager would not come out to check it out. There was no manual for the t.v. set, which would have been helpful. This time he asked us if the t.v. was plugged in! He then indicated that he would have to buy a new one. I told him that I didn't feel that a new t.v. set was needed. We finally got the t.v. to work on the last night, but we could not get it to go to the Netflix channel. We gave up. For this very expensive price point per night, we expected far better service. Other than this unfortunate experience with this one individual, our stay was fantastic.

Great place but needs some love.

Not that private, lacks air conditioning. As I type this I can hear the neighbors toilet flush. You keep the windows open because no air conditioning and you are woken either by the close neighbors or the chickens. Two blinds didn’t work upon arrival and the property manager made no attempt to fix. There is also rebar sticking up about 2 inches above the ground right outside the pool. My boy stepped on it twice. The second pool, the lap pool is nice but upon arrival it says to keep the pool vacuum in the whole time. It was always in the way when my kids were playing. The pathways around the property are crushed shells and are the worst to walk on, it’s hard to make it from the out of the pool area with the auto opener because of the bad walking surface, your kids will hate it.

True Paradise

This property has been the best place we stayed in the Princeville region so far. The layout of the home was perfect and the location was excellent. We enjoyed the views from the jacuzzi/spa. I would definitely want to come back here if possible.

A Paradise Within Paradise

This is a fabulous house! It’s a “mini paradise within paradise itself.” It’s easy to get to and close to shopping and supermarkets. We don’t normally spend this much on a vacation, but we forfeited a few trips to finally come back, as Kauai is the best of all the islands in our opinion. This is a 5 star property, no doubt, so my comments pertain to the fact that I traveled with my husband and 2 teenagers (minus the XBox 😁) who had to share a room. It was a little tight for us, but we definitely would have used a sleeper sofa. It’s a big room, so there’s plenty of space for a comfy modular style. I’m in my 50’s and my eyesight is going downhill, so larger TVs would have been a bonus. Everything else, EXCEEDS expectations. Layout is perfect, both bedrooms are as far away from each other as possible, the upstairs master doesn’t have a door, but it wasn’t a problem for us since our teenagers avoid us. There’s virtually a view from anywhere but In certain parts of the house, you get both the jungle view and ocean view, like on the deck. The pool/hot tub is unbelievable, but the lap pool made it luxurious. It’s in an exclusive neighborhood and an easy walk to an end of Hanalei Bay or to Pu’U Poa beach. The BEST part is that you walk through the old Club Med Resort, with some structures still standing, which feels like you’re in Jurassic Park. Another cool activity was an awesome hike at the Hanalei Wildlife Refuge. I never knew you could turn left just before a bridge to get to a trailhead. This is a must do hidden gem! The property is full of beautiful plants, fruit trees, and wildlife. I can go on and on, but trust me, it was a dream vacation.

Stunning and relaxing property

The house was extremely clean, well furnished and had every amenity we required. The view from the property was spectacular and we loved walking to the beach at the end of the road. A perfect place to spend a vacation in Kauai.

Beautiful Home

The house was ideal for our family of 4. Two teenage girls upstairs with their own bath. My husband and I downstairs with our own bath. Perfect location to walk to a wonderful snorkel beach and Nourish cafe excellent bowls! Quiet location with great pools and less than a mile walk to Foodland. Another great breakfast place "The Spot" in Princeville shopping center.

Magical

I can't rave about this place enough. When we arrived, I was running around like a little kid because the views, the property, the house, the pool was all incredible. The house is location close to Princeville and Hanalei which has farmer's markets, groceries, restaurants and shopping so you really have access to everything you need. It is within a short walk to the beach and a small restaurant at the end of the road that is delicious. My family and husband and I had a great vacation. It was so nice to come back after a busy day outdoors to just relax and watch evening set in and go for a nice swim. Everything was immaculately clean and we had everything we needed. My dad made serious use of the lap pool, while my husband and I ended our days in the hot tub almost every night.

Wish we could have stayed forever!!

This house was perfect for my wife and I along with our 13yo daughter and her best friend. The kitchen is great, it actually made us WANT to cook. The location couldn’t be better. Watching the sun set over Hanalei Bay from the hot tub was a highlight!

a beautiful home base for the north shore

Everything as advertised. Easy drive down to Hanalei. Close to the grocery store in Princeville. Easy walk down to Puu Poa beach (15-20 min) to snorkel, and also the paddle out to the surf is much easier from puu poa vs the pier at hanalei if the waves aren’t too big. an ideal spot to stay
