Perfect Retreat Spot

Family stayed over Thanksgiving, with a fantastic snowfall. We were grateful for the garage for the car and the nice stash of firewood! Cosy, comfortable and relaxing couple of days!

Great Stay!

Love this property! The large screened in porch that faces the lake is perfect for relaxing. The lawn out to the lake is also very level making it easier to navigate. The interior was spacious enough for our group, but also seemed very cozy. Definately will be back!

Snowmobile trip

Very clean plenty of room for everyone. Right next to the snowmobile trail easy access. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. Definitely would stay there again.

Peaceful relaxation

Beautiful property with the most amazing screen porch! Good on hot days, good on cool days, and perfect all around! Plenty of space to store your own food and a well-appointed kitchen.

Summer fun

Beautiful home and great location. Very well organized and the Property manager was very attentive to our needs. The screen porch is definitely the highlight of this property!

Excellent stay!

This place is a complete gem! The porch alone warrants a 5-star review, but the whole place is wonderful. The yard is great for lawn games and toddler exploration, the house is easy for people who can't navigate stairs, and the upstairs is terrific for those of us who want to retreat for a bit (or longer). Just perfection! Thanks for sharing this space with us!

Amazing property!!!!

We came up to ride the bike paths and hike with our dog. This property was perfect! It has a flat backyard for our pup to play ball on, no stairs to the pier and a gorgeous screened in porch we sat on every night as it was cooler the week we were there. It was very clean and comfy, and the owners/management team were readily available. It was a fantastic week!Thank you!Sara B

North Star Retreat

We’ve rented many cabins over the years and this one is a standout! Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, great seating in living area and on large screened in porch, plenty of dining and game playing space, and everything in working order was so appreciated. Big winds and down pouring rain didn’t keep us from enjoying every minute! We even enough fish for one meal! Thanks so much for keeping your rental cottage pristine!

Excellent Property

The property was as clean as any we have stayed in. The home is well-appointed with all the essentials. The furniture was solid and comfortable. Having use of the garage was a huge bonus, as we were able to park our boat in there, (away from the mosquitos) while we prepped it for the water. We caught a 34" Muskie casting off the dock. The screen porch is a great place to hang out with the family on rainy days. We will be re-booking this property again!

Had a blast at North Star retreat

My customers and I very much enjoy this house. We have friends that live on this driveway/road so it was very easy to connect with them. The house was very accommodating, the kitchen was great for late night conversations and early morning story telling. My only complaint was that the house is set up for couples. 3 bedrooms 3 couples. We had 4 guys so one of us had to sleep on the couch. Still one of the best houses I have used.

Perfect!

The house had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean!! Very comfortable beds and furniture! We had an issue with the furnace the first day and someone came out right away and it was fixed by the next day...it was not an issue at all and gave us a good reason to use the fireplace. Enjoyed the kayaks and fishing. Went to Porcupine Mountain to hike, see Lake in the Clouds, waterfalls and Lake Superior. Rode awesome Winman mtb trails twice and the Vilas County paved trail. Dixie's has wonderful coffee and we had a good dinner at Aqualand Ale House, otherwise the kitchen was well-supplied with all the cooking equipment we needed. We would definitely stay again!

Just a wonderful property that has new appliances, all the kitchen supplies you would need to prepare a gourmet meal, and most importantly great bedding that allows one to have a well rested sleep!
