Guest Access:
This is a single family home with a fully fenced in backyard. You may use anything on the property at your discretion. Please respect our neighbors by keeping noise to a reasonable level at all times, particularly if you are in the backyard.

The Neighborhood:
Walking distance to all of what West End has to offer including restaurants, coffee shops and Hannaford for groceries!

Only 1 mile away from downtown Portsmouth. Walk down Islington St. and take in all of the shops and restaurants our awesome town has to offer!

Getting Around:
We have two parking spots available if you bring a car. Otherwise you can walk almost anywhere from our spot.

FYI, booking includes and is protected by our damage protection program.

There are two Ring doorbell cameras on both entry doors as well as a noise monitoring system in the living room. The devices do not record anything, just noise decibel levels and we do not actively monitor the Ring cameras unless there is an incident. This technology is in place to protect the privacy of our neighbors and to keep you safe.

FYI - For guests bringing pets, please clean up after them. We will be requesting additional payment for any extra clean up from your pet. (The pet fee - $100 per pet, only covers additional cleaning to make sure to get all pet fur by double washing all linens, wear and tear on flooring/carpets and furniture). No more than 2 dogs allowed. MUST BE LEASHED AT ALL TIMES.

**Every Tuesday at 10:00 AM from May to September, our landscapers will be mowing around the exterior of the property. Please let us know if you would like us to reschedule their appointment.

Our stay was perfection! The proximity to UNH, Kittery and downtown Portsmouth was second to none and the home offered all the the amenities to make our stay comfortable and convenient. Our dogs were paws-itively thrilled with the fenced in backyard and the overall dog friendliness of Portsmouth. Would stay here again and again.

Cute but AC issues

Cute place in great location - a little over 1 mile walk to downtown. Small spaces with narrow stairs to bedroom but excellent use of hooks/shelves to allow comfortable stay. Temperature during our 4 night stay ranged from mid-50's to mid-70's. Ongoing problem with temperature control to cool place. Management company tried to offer solutions but not effective. Weather stripping at base of back door also coming off. Hopefully these issues have been resolved. Otherwise lovely and convenient place.

Quiet, Comfortable & Perfect Location!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this West End house, and our miniature goldendoodle was grateful for the fenced back yard. The communication with Chris was absolutely terrific! We had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed, a washer and dryer in the basement, a dishwasher, a hair dryer, and a safe, quiet neighborhood. It is a short walk to a Hannafords grocery store, and to White Heron Tea & Coffee, Otto's Pizza, and Laney & Lu for lunch. We also walked into Portsmouth--it's straight down Islington Street, very easy to do. We absolutely recommend this property, and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Portsmouth Peace

My husband and I stay here and we had our 2 dogs with us too. The house was cozy, clean, and a fenced in backyard was perfect. It is local to anywhere in Portsmouth you want to go too. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable. We had a fantastic time and the house was exactly as advertised. We would definitely stay again. And the owner was very quick to respond to any question I had and was so helpful. Shout out to Chris!!

Charming home so close to everything

The house is absolutely as described and is perfect for a getaway to New England. Everything in Portsmouth is just minutes away and even Maine is less than 10 minutes away. We managed to visit Boston, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont while staying just 5 days here. A perfectly located home full of history and charm.

Christmas Together

Our two adult children both live on the East Coast so we came to them for the holidays this year. It was a perfect place to walk to town, enjoy local hikes, cook Christmas dinner with fresh lobsters, and play games etc. Making fun memories. The location was perfect! We'll Be Back!

Our eldest son just moved to the Portsmouth area so we spent a week there getting him settled. Our host was helpful, informative and extremely friendly. This beautifully decorated home is in a great location close to all the action downtown. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay (restaurants, bars, CVS, ice skating rink, etc.) was just minutes away by car. We even spent one afternoon in Southern Maine, which was right over the bridge. We'll be visiting Portsmouth lots from hereon in. And when we do, this house will always be our go-to. Highly recommended for all the right and just reasons.

Cozy Stay

My family really enjoyed our stay here. The house is cute and it’s a short drive to downtown Portsmouth. There was also a pack n play and activity center for our little one at the house which was super convenient. The kitchen was so cozy and we felt right at home. We would definitely stay here again.

Great house in the West End!

We really enjoyed our stay on Morning Street! It was easy to get everywhere in the West End neighborhood and a very short drive to downtown Portsmouth. The rooms seemed even bigger in person than in the pictures and the house was clean and well kept. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. The fenced in yard is a huge plus as a pet owner! We brought our toddler on the trip as well and the indoor space was perfect. Easy to block off the stairs and lots of room to safely run around! We’ll definitely stay again next time we’re in the area!

Not suitable for renting

The house on 78 Morning Street is located in a dismal neighborhood with no curb appeal and the house itself is outdated, rundown, shabby looking, and in disrepair. The fenced-in yard was unkept with leaves and debris in it making it unsuitable for our dogs. This house should not be rented out and definitely not for the price they requested.
