Mauvaise communication

ProblÚme de communication avec VRBO Pas d'internet et pas de télévision en arrivant, finalement récupérer le lendemain aprÚs-midi. Rien n'est fourni, saliÚre, poivriÚre, sucre ( 2 petites enveloppes n'est pas suffisant)carte du quartier et carte de métro . L'endroit est magnifique mais bruyant.

Every thing you need and a view!

This flat was in an excellent location, had very good air conditioning and room to move about. It was clean. The views were wonderful. There are restaurants, cafés, coffee, shops, and views in abundance. There was a four flight walk. That was a little hard at the end of the night, but other than that, we really enjoyed every aspect of our stay. It would be nice if there was a mirror located in the upstairs bedroom.

Didn’t meet expectations

The positive: The view really is exceptional as it shows in the photo online. The rest: check-in was terrible, starting with the fact that they wouldn’t even share the address in advance. For “security reasons” which makes no sense, since you need two separate security codes to get in - one for the building and one for the apartment itself. So what difference does it make if I know the address?? But ok fine. So the morning of check-in we finally got the address. Except that we never got the arrival information. We were standing on the street with no way to enter and needed to call Vrbo since we had no way to contact the owners except for chatting via the app but they weren’t responding to my messages. Once inside it is 4 flights up with no elevator. With heavy luggage you’ll feel it no matter how fit you are! The apartment: it’s small. The kitchen isn’t adequate to cook in really. No dishwasher. No basics for cooking. Just plates and glasses. Very small fridge. The bedroom only has a bed and two nightstands (without drawers). No closet. No hooks. There is a closet in the hallway but when it is open, you can’t pass through to get between the kitchen and bathroom. I had to empty out the drawers in the closet to fit my stuff in it. (full of blankets and pillows). The bathroom smelled like mildew and was kinda nasty. Upstairs bedroom was fine, but up lots of steep stairs. Location was decent but noisy at night. My advice? Pay a few more bucks and stay elsewhere.

Below Expectations Apartment

The building is located in a great location. The stairwell & apartment could use a “refresh”. It gave the appearance of rooms being turned over quickly. The bathroom didn’t smell fresh most likely due to shower water spilling out easily and dirty tile grout. We had one night of the fire alarm beeping constantly. The management wasn’t able to fix issue till the next day. This location has great potential if kept up properly.

Great location in a beautiful apartment

Location: Great location in the heart of Porto: About 10 mins from everywhere you need to be and great restaurants near by. That being said the apartment is near the party area so Saturday night was incredible loud till about 5am. I put on headphones but the yelling, music, banging by the church will definetly wake you up. It was fun to people watch but if you have an early flight be prepared not to get any sleep. Apartment: The place was very clean and cozy. It felt like a very safe place to be while in Porto. There is a small fridge and a small stove you can use. The coffee was great to have in the mornings as well. I opened the widows when it was warm but didnt get too cold at night. The shower and bathroom are fine. The apartment is on the 4th floor which is a little difficult to climb if you have any health issues. With all the walking you do in the city, walking up 4 floors was very difficult even for me!
