Entry to the building door was somewhat confusing. We gained entrance after trial and error. The apartment is one floor up and towards the back of the building. We arrived late in the evening, so we couldnât see the surroundings. The apartment was clean, yet tired and well used. Some mold in the shower doors. Some crushed edges on the walls. We have never been in a rental that counted and listed the items and replacement costs. Different. The next morning we awoke to drilling, beeping and an active construction site next to us. The construction crane and steel beams hovering near the patio were interesting. The patio and table were covered with dustâŠ.sad. One worker wave hello. Nice. Initially, we were not sure how long the activity would last. It occurred to each day, all day. We were scheduled to stay for over a week. Fortunately, the manager for the rental understood and allowed us to leave after a few days. We were refunded for the time we didnât stay. Thank you for doing the right thing.
