The Space:

Located in the heart of the downtown area right beside Fernandina Wall and Sé Cathedral. Our street has limited car access and therefore is very quiet. Guindais' stairs are on our doorstep, providing amazing views over the river and D Luis I bridge.



This unique apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a renovated family home (no elevator). It is a duplex unit where you will find one of the bedrooms on the second level and the other in the upper level. This unit faces the street.

Bedroom 1 is on the lower level, the kitchen and dining area with a 42'' TV offering a wide variety of channels are on the 2nd floor with the Bedroom 2 (facing the back).



You will find a round table fitting 4 seats.

Bedroom 1

Two 90x200 made together as a Nordic bed and therefore creating a 180x200 King size bed, very comfortable with 4 pillows. It has its own private bathroom.



Bedroom 2

One 160x200 bed with also 4 pillows. It has its own private bathroom.





There are also 2 adjacent studios and another 2 bedroom apartment in case guests want more privacy or have the need to accommodate more guests. You may also reserve the whole building for your family & friends.

Guest Access:

1st floor (no elevator). Guests access is granted by the use of a code. We will ask our guests to show their Passports and/or their national identity cards in order to collect and share with the immigration authorities.



There is no elevator, only stairs that can be steep for some people.



Please remember we are not a Hotel and therefore there is no reception neither someone in the property. We will always ask for your estimated time of arrival.

The Neighborhood:

One of the most iconic and traditional neighborhoods of Porto - Guindais do Porto!



"It's that postcard from Porto that will never run out of time. Nestled in the heart of the Sé, between the D. Luís Bridge, the Guindais stairs, the Fernandina Wall and pilgrimage site for many people in São João. It is the ideal place to start planning the weekends, legs outstretched looking at the city. Like any self-respecting neighborhood community, you may head to the local Guindalense Futebol Club for a beer or a great snack enjoying it's amazing views."



Besides, there are plenty of restaurants close by right at the Praça da Batalha or Poveiros Square. Avenida dos Aliados, São Bento station and Clérigos tower are just a few minutes away walking distance. The famous Luis I bridge is just around the corner!



Ribeira square will take 10 minutes on foot to get there.



Getting Around:

If you Arrive in Porto by PLANE- AIRPORT FRANCISCO SÁ CARNEIRO.

It is possible to get to the city center by our Transfer service, metro, bus or by car/taxi.



TRANSFER SERVICE:

Easiest way to get to us! Very practical and no need to wait in lines.

METRO

From Porto Airport- Francisco Sá Carneiro- take Metro Line E in direction to Estádio do Dragão. Get off at Trindade Metro Station and take D line direction Sto Ovidio and you get off in São Bento Station. Once you start walking it's 7 minutes.



BUS

From Porto Airport. Between 6h00 AM to 8h45 PM, take Bus 602 direction Cordoaria. From Cordoaria, head down to Avenida dos Aliados*. Between 00H30 and 05H30, take Bus 3M direction Avenida Aliados. From Avenida dos Aliados* head towards Catedral Sé. Walk on Av Dom Afonso Henriques then at the end go left onto R. de Saraiva de Carvalho. Once you see the end of the Wall, you head right towards our street.



TRAIN

From the Campanhã Railway Station (located outside the city center) you can take :

Metro Line A in direction to Senhor de Matosinhos, Metro Line B, in direction to Póvoa de Varzim,

Metro Line E, in direction to Aeroporto, or Metro Line F, in direction to Senhora da Hora.

Get off at Trindade Metro Station (image 1). Once you get out of the station take line D direction Sto Ovidio and get out at São Bento station. Then follow the directions given above to reach the apartment.
