Enjoy the best of local living in a vibrant, walkable community known for its friendly atmosphere, great dining, food trucks, and boutique shopping. Just one block from local favorites for food, beer, wine, coffee and nightlife, this cozy Suite apartment features a king bed, full bath, kitchen, washer/dryer, workstation, free street parking. No pets allowed.



The Space:

Experience Portland like a local at #StayinMyDistrict Sellwood+Cozy King Suite. You’ll feel right at home in this charming basement apartment featuring its own private entrance. This urban hideaway sits beneath the main home of a young and active family but offers privacy, with awesome architectural detail, spaces that are open or closed as you choose.

Inside, you’ll find thoughtful touches throughout. The space is beautifully decorated and equipped with a comfortable king-size bed dressed in quality linens and pillows. Even the little one will have a place to sleep, we do provide a pack-n-play in the unit.



The bathroom is clean with modern touches, tile double head shower, stocked with plush towels, shampoo, conditioner, paper products, and other essentials. A hair dryer, and clothes steamer are also provided for convenience.

The kitchen is separate from the living area, entry through French style doors and included an area with 4 stool seating and tabletop, it also includes full-size appliances, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, stove/oven, and along with all the cook/bakeware, utensils, and all the service ware you’ll need. We provide dishes and utensils for eating meals.

The living area offers a comfortable couch / sofa bed that sleeps 2 along with bed linens, comforter and pillows needed for a good nights rest, a coffee table, accent chair, even a small workstation with it’s own chair. If you like working in the kitchen the table can double as a workstation as well.

Enjoy your downtime with the wall-mounted 43” Google Smart TV, which is loaded with apps that you can use to sign in on your favorite streaming apps.

A washer and dryer, and clothes steamer are located in the bathroom along with an ample amount of laundry detergent for convenience.

Once outside the unit you will be able to walk into the urban neighborhood surrounded by trees and blooming shrubbery — take a short stroll to the many area coffee shops and bakeries and enjoy the friendly faces as you sip your morning, in the afternoon there are many establishments to enjoy food and wine. You will find these amenities œ block away, bonus is that there are food trucks on the corner and a coffee shop for that afternoon cup!

FREE street parking is available throughout the neighborhood and is first come first served. At times is may be challenging to find parking, however cars come and go frequently so spots are open at different times of day. Just be mindful of the driveways and do block please. Parking is monitored by the city.



Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the entire basement apartment along with a separate entrance leading directly to the space. Please do not go beyond the front door area as it is the private space for the residents upstairs. There is no allotted outdoor space to hang out in sorry.



The Neighborhood:

It’s easy to see why guests fall in love with #StayinMyDistrict Sellwood+Cozy King Suite. Though you may never want to leave your cozy retreat, the lively shops, restaurants, and entertainment of historic Sellwood are just steps away. Within 1–3 blocks you’ll find endless dining options, local pubs, food trucks, vintage boutiques, and parks along the Willamette River.

This Southeast Portland neighborhood is rich in character and charm. The Sellwood-Moreland district is known for its antiques, independent shops, and community feel, as well as nearby outdoor recreation. You’ll have access to four public parks (Westmoreland, Sellwood, Sellwood Riverfront, and Johnson Creek), plus scenic trails through Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge, a public golf course, and the Springwater Corridor for biking and walking. Oaks Park, an amusement park is on the River’s Edge and provides visitors with carnival type entertainment and fun!

Antique lovers will adore this area — it’s a haven for collectors, with countless vintage vendors offering everything from mid-century finds to one-of-a-kind treasures.

With grocery stores, cafes, and local markets all nearby, you can easily explore Portland without ever needing to drive.



Getting Around:

For a true Portland experience, park your car and explore on foot or by bike. Sellwood-Moreland is highly walkable and bike-friendly, with restaurants, cafes, and shops just a few blocks away. Public transportation is also reliable and safe.

If you prefer to ride, Portland’s BIKETOWN bike-share stations are conveniently located throughout the city. Free street parking is available on SE Lexington Street and the streets that surround, but is first come first served.

‱ Per Portland City Code, guest information (name, address, and vehicle details) must be collected before check-in. Please provide this information upon booking.

‱ Only registered guests are permitted on the premises after 10 PM.

‱ This is a NON-Pet Friendly property

‱ No smoking anywhere on the property. Violations may result in forfeiture of the full security deposit and additional cleaning fees up to $500.

‱ Self check-in via keypad. Check-in after 4:00 PM; Check-out by 11:00 AM.

‱ Housekeeping is required for stays longer than 15 days ($50 fee per cleaning). Optional mid-stay cleaning can be arranged for shorter stays.

‱ Free street parking where available, please adhere to all parking signage

We are available by phone, text, email or in person. Otherwise, we give you plenty of privacy and access to lockbox.
