Notre famille vous invite Ă  dĂ©couvrir une tranche de notre vie Ă  Portland. Nous avons converti un loft au-dessus de notre garage en utilisant toutes les nouvelles constructions et tous les nouveaux meubles pour vous offrir une expĂ©rience d’évasion vraiment luxueuse et moderne.

Je suis souvent à la maison dans la maison principale et disponible pour répondre à vos questions, mais je suis également sensible aux courriels ou aux textes.

Il existe trois lignes de bus à service fréquent (15 min. D'intervalle) à moins de 0,5 km: Hawthorne (n ° 14), Division (n ° 2), Cesar Chavez (n ° 75).

Very nice property in a quiet neighborhood close to many shops and eateries Angela, the host, is very thoughtful in equipping the vacation rental with everything needed for a convenient and comfortable stay. I often sleep poorly on travel but not here.Angela is also very responsive.I recommend this VRBO and would seek to stay here again when traveling through Portland.

The photos of Jewel in the Sky truly don't do it justice! The stay was everything, & more. I don't believe we've ever stayed somewhere so immaculate. I'm unsure how Angela does it, but everything presents as if it is brand new. Every drawer, every nook, every corner, EVERYTHING is spotless. Her amenities are endless, incredible & rare, from the water & air filtration systems, to the sound machine & flawlessly stocked kitchen. I could go on & on forever. It's very obvious she put her heart & soul into planning & staging the best stay for her guests. Her decor is beautiful & welcoming, making for a perfect match to her personality. The night we checked in, we had the pleasure of meeting her & talking with her for a bit & then she offered to help carry some of our luggage back with us! Who does that?! Her communication was impeccable. As first time Portland visitors, we had a million questions & her suggestions for everything were spot on, making for an overall outstanding experience. Angela is the epitome of what it means to be a super host & Jewel in the Sky's location allowed us to explore the cutest neighborhood with the best food & shops! We are so appreciative.

Fantastic

The property and host were fantastic. I was able to eat well, while I had an extended stay in the city without having to eat out all the time. It was perfect and the host had everything I could possibly need!!! This will definitely be the first place I look for any additional stays. I have in the city.

It is a wonderful VRBO. The communication is great, the apartment is bright and cheerful. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you need to make a nice meal. The shades are remote controlled so you can easily close them to feel cozy at night time. Felt very safe. I'm sure if there's anything you'd need besides all that is provided, Angela would make it happen. We feel fortunate to have had our stay in Portland at Jewel in the Sky and if we have the opportunity, we will return there. Great walking nieghborhood, too. 5 stars!

Pleasant Place, Great Location!

Jewel in the Sky is a lovely loft space located over a garage (so one flight of stairs involved if that's an issue for you) in a quiet residential section in the Hawthorne neighborhood, filled with cute Craftsman's and bungalows. It is between Hawthorne and Division streets, both of which have many restaurants (we tried several, which were all very good to excellent), bars, bakeries, shops, etc. It's a very walkable neighborhood -- just a short jaunt to Mt. Tabor Park -- and centrally located for getting around in Portland. The unit has a very well equipped kitchen and was stocked with nice amenities like coffee, tea, some snacks, filtered water, and such. The same can be said of the bathroom. It was a quiet space and we never noticed any noise from the street or the neighborhood. Parking is on the street, but we never had a problem finding a spot more than a few yards from the address. The owners clearly take pride in their place and are very accommodating. We would certainly stay here again when in Portland.

Such a perfect stay !!!

The property is very very nice. It has all the basics you could possibly need for your stay there. Everything is labeled so finding what you need is quick and easy. The hosts are very friendly and communicative. The location is also perfect for exploring the Hawthorne area with so many amenities nearby. It is very worth it and I highly recommend!

Angela's Jewel in the Sky is nestled in a quiet neighborhood lush with amazing yard landscaping and gardens. The space was very clean, very modern and very comfortable. It also affords a good deal of privacy as it is not connected to the house. Our stay was only 3 nights but we could have easily stayed a month, for us this little jewel was just right.

Better than advertised!

We selected this property based on other’s reviews, as many do. What stood out to us was the hosts attention to detail and we were not disappointed! Angela goes above and beyond to provide her guests with a fully stocked, relaxing, rejuvenating experience in their home away from home. No detail, big or small, was overlooked. And, when we thought we may have found the one thing not provided for us (a scale to make sure our overstuffed luggage was fit to fly) one was waiting for us at our door the same day. We found the stay to be better than advertised. It’s not only modern, but also homey and comfortable. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Exactly what we expected!

My Fiancé and I enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. We even cooked a meal for ourselves one evening with ease. Bed was very comfortable, Bathroom was a nice size equipped with everything a hotel would have. Great use of a small space. The host was very welcoming and let us know when we met her on the sidewalk to just ask for anything we may need. We ended up not needing a thing that wasn't already provided. We would stay again on our next trip to visit our family.

Family Holiday Visit

If i could rate this property with a 10 star rating, I would. From the excellent communications with Angela and the fact that the studio, and its amenities exceeded our expectations, we couldn't have been happier staying anywhere else. The studio was well appointed and updated. The instructions for "how to" were easy to follow. The neighborhood is very quiet and accessible to all that Portland has to offer. Thanks Angela for being such a top-notch host. I know we would definitively put in a request to stay there again when we are visiting family in the Portland area.

Home away from home

I can’t say enough great things about our stay! Angela was communicative throughout our stay and checked in regarding anything we may have needed to make our stay more comfortable! As someone that often forgets a necessity when packing for a trip- I really appreciated all the thoughtful extras around the Loft (ex. Soaps/makeup wipes/local coffee). I also NEED to comment on how comfortable the bed was- I have never experienced such restful sleep while traveling! Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Portland!

Exceptional Studio Rental

My adult son and I stayed 3 nights at this lovely studio while in town for a family wedding. The location was perfect for our needs. The host was out of town during our stay but she was in touch the whole time and all our needs and more were met from instructions to kitchen and bathroom essentials. The unit was incredibly decorated and clean, the bed and the pull out couch were both amazing and we slept great! We loved everything about our stay. The weather was very hot or we would have enjoyed the charming garden that was adjacent to us. This was my first time arranging a rental so I was unsure about what the owner expectations were for us even with the handy list of closing requirements so I truly hope we left the place to their standards. I would stay there again and recommend the rental 100%

Amazing stay, 10/10!

The owners took a great deal of care in setting up this VRBO. She literally thought of everything. You’re welcomed with snacks and a beautifully decorated space. The space seems huge and is extremely clean. It’s in a great neighborhood and you get to enjoy the owners beautiful yard and chickens! Everything is labeled and provided for you, instructions are super clear, and she even has a binder with walking distances to some of the best spots in the area. I cannot give this place enough praise, and I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Portland!

Perfect stay! Absolutely everything one could think of or ask for at a rental property was included! Super crazy clean. Everything seemed new. Fresh fruit and a whole bag of coffee! liquid creamers! First aid kit! We did not cook so cannot speak to that but it seemed as if there was everything there- even bags and wraps etc. Great A/C. The host was beyond helpful even when we had some unusual needs/requests. The yard and the chickens ( no noise from them) it all was just quaint and beautiful. Blackout shades made the place super dark. Extremely responsive host. Will stay agin if I'm in the area.

First class cleanliness and all accoutrements. All furnishings 5*. Very comfortable.

Host is perfect and helpful. Only contacts you in reply. 5* furnishings. Place is as pictured and so comfortable. A true gem. Good Coffee nearby is a nice walk. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful place!

Angela thought of everything to make our stay beyond comfortable! The unit is very clean & well appointed with all the amenities just like home. She is very welcoming & communicates clearly & thoroughly. I do believe we’ll be back the next time we visit our son. Thank you so much!

Great Spot in Convenient Location

This is the second time we've stayed at this property and our second visit was as good as the first. Angela, the owner, is easy to reach, personable, and has thought of everything one might want or need during a stay. The space is attractive, comfortable, and spacious, with privacy and nice natural light and views. The neighborhood is cute and within easy walking distance of many restaurants and a grocery store. We hope to return again!
