Les espaces de vie et de sommeil sont combinĂ©s pour occuper un cĂŽtĂ© du studio. DĂ©tendez-vous sur le canapĂ© en cuir, profiter des chaĂźnes par satellite, ou repos complet dans un lit king-size. Pristine Hood Canal est trĂšs recherchĂ©e pour ses fruits de mer abondante et eaux chaudes et claires. Le sentier de la plage peut ĂȘtre un travail Ă  venir, mais vaut bien la promenade. Les bois ouvrent Ă  500 'de plage privĂ©e qui diplĂŽmĂ©s Ă  palourdes et huĂźtres. Si vous restez Ă  marĂ©e basse, vous trouverez de nombreuses merveilles naturelles sur cette plage - il est parfait pour la plage peignage et la natation.

Not a cabin. Not on the beach. You will be staying in a loft apartment above the owners garage directly next to their house. Beach access is a couple minute hike down a steep, muddy trail through the woods. You will also not have privacy as there are people coming and going occasionally through out the day. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with plenty of supplies. You can find just about anything you need for cooking and cleaning. The owners are very friendly and generous as they did ask if we needed anything from the store. They brought us a much needed lemon and gave us a bunch of fresh zucchini as well! Very much appreciated! Be aware of burn bans in the area as we couldn’t use the fire pit during our stay and the grill provided is propane. We did enjoy the quiet and watching the bald eagles fly overhead. If you make it down to the beach the butter clams are abundant and good sized and we dug our limit in a little over an hour. A quiet and relaxing stay even if it wasn’t exactly what I wanted.

Rocky and slippery but plenty of clams not too deep.

Nice rural location

Property was as described. You are very close to the owner's home but it is a separate cabin and they are friendly. If you are unfamiliar with the area, the property sits at the very end of a rural peninsula. If you want a nice beach getaway or you don't mind a long scenic drive back to home base, this is a good choice.

Perfect Unplugged Weekend

This place is perfect for an off the grid weekend . It’s super clean, peaceful and close to the water. I also love that is very pet friendly. I think our dog loved it more than we did. Somethings to consider about when renting: The pictures make it seem like it is the only place on the property. The owners do live on property, and the “cottage” is a loft over an adjacent garage. They didn’t interact with us so it did feel like we were alone. If you are an XL person, the bathroom is not meant for you. It’s not really meant for people over 5’6. Water pressure though is AMAZING. There is no wifi so it’s ideal for catching up on reading or playing board games. You could do a destination DnD campaign. They do have spotty cell service and an old TV with a few DVDs. Overall would stay again.

Thanksgiving Oysters

Loved our stay! We do want to come back some time because our time was cut short but absolutely loved the property, the silence, the water, and the adorable and homey cabin. Got to eat oysters, see bald eagles, and even saw a black bear driving to the property one evening!

Quiet nice stay

Secluded and quiet which we expected. Nice view of the water. A few things. We didn't realize that there would be no beach for walking or sitting most of the day due to tide. Once we realized that we had to go in the morning for a walk to enjoy the beach it was nice. I wouldn't call it beachfront. The pit for a pit fire worked well. We found lots of kindling and had brought wood. The house was nice. A deck or outside patio would have made it ideal. Kitchen we are is missing a few things. Many pot tops, noe of which fit any of the pans that were there. No pots to cook pasta, or sauces pans.Only fry pans. Air fryer was filthy. Please clean or throw out. I didn't feel like washing it. The owner was great and gave us some fresh garlic and her garlic press to use. Local fresh eggs to buy up the road.Community center is lovely but we never saw anyone there. Nice enough but with all of the fees, a little expensive for its location and amenities. Shower and bed were great. No dishwasher.

My husband and I chose this property looking for waterfront and a dog friendly place to stay. This cabin is separated from the main house and has its own bbq and fire pit, with other seating areas and fire pits around the large property. It’s private! Our large dog was ecstatic about being off leash; she could run up and down to the shoreline and drink from a natural freshwater creek leading to the Puget Sound. We had a family over and had a quiet bbq, enjoyed the shells all over the shore and woke to the seals barking from our window. I hope our travels lead us back to Hazel point soon! Great hosting, generous and kind. Laid back.

Minimalist with few creature comforts

Expectations always color our experience. Having stayed in, and managed, many VRBO units I have come to expect a certain level of amenities and cleanliness. In fairness, if you are looking for a very remote location many miles away from even a grocery store, and are interested in crawfish netting, then this place might work for you. We are seniors and it definitely was not for us. We rented the unit for 17 nights and stayed only one night. Temperatures dropped into the low teens and it snowed that night. The space heater in the unit was barely adequate and we frankly feared for our safety. In my opinion, the description of the property is misleading and doesn't reflect the tired furnishings, kitchen cabinets soiled by many years of being handled, and dishes with food stains with no dishwasher to get them any cleaner. In fairness, the property manager did give us the opportunity to cancel and get a full refund up to 3 or 4 days prior to our check in. We had our pet with us and alternatives were few so we stuck with the reservation. I did inquire about a refund--at least a partial refund-- and was stonewalled by the management company. Yes they were not obligated to a refund, but sometimes doing what's fair and right is the better option regardless of what we had agreed to without really knowing what we were getting into.

Nice, remote and quiet

Happy to find this place that accepts dogs. Floor is all wood so no worry about carpet getting dirty but we did wipe our dog's paws each time we came in. A lovely walk up the lane with lots of birds, some deer and we could hear seals barking from afar. Beds were very comfy!

A lovely weekend

The property owner was kind and welcoming. There were toys and little surprises for the kids, which delighted them! We enjoyed digging clams and exploring the water’s edge. Be prepared though for a *very* steep trail along a narrow cliffside to get down to the beach. I found it nerve-wracking to navigate with the youngest children and older folks in our group, and our family does a lot of hiking and outdoor adventuring so that word of caution is not an exaggeration. The cottage was well appointed. Really appreciated the comfy beds and the laundry.
