Welcome to The Guesthouse â a bright and peaceful two-bedroom bungalow just minutes from Aberavon Beach, perfect for a relaxing seaside break or a comfortable work-from-home stay. Once a doctorâs surgery, this unique space has been fully refurbished to create a stylish and welcoming retreat with its own private entrance, garden and patio.
Inside, youâll find a calming, home-from-home atmosphere with tasteful dĂ©cor, solid furniture, and thoughtful touches throughout. The open-plan living area features a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, settee, and a smart TV, making it easy to unwind after a day out.
There are two bedrooms:
Main bedroom with a king-size bed, wardrobe, cupboards, desk and space for a crib or playpen
Second bedroom with two singles that can be joined into a king-size, plus ample storage
The wet room-style bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and sink. Youâll also have access to a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outside, enjoy the private patio and garden â ideal for an evening salad, glass of wine or quiet moment in the fresh air. Fast WiFi and off-road parking are included.
Guests enter via a side path to their own private front door. The entire bungalow, patio and garden are exclusively yours during your stay. Parking is available either on the hardstanding space provided or directly in front of the main house.
Weâll be next door if needed, but otherwise weâll leave you in peace â unless you fancy a chat!
Youâre just a short walk from Aberavon Beach, with play areas, a splash park, cafĂ©s, restaurants, mini golf, a scenic pier, and more all nearby. Shops, a chemist, a post office and local parks are also within walking distance.
Margam Country Park is a 10-minute drive, offering woodland walks, wildlife and treetop adventures. If you fancy a day out, Porthcawl Funfair is 20 minutes one way, and Swansea and the Gower Peninsula are 20 minutes in the other â perfect for exploring further afield.
No car? No problem â the bus stop is just 3 minutes away, and both the bus and train stations are around 5 minutes by car, making it easy to get around without driving.
House Rules
- No smoking indoors. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited inside the property. A ÂŁ350 deep-cleaning fee will apply if any smoke is detected. You are welcome to smoke outsideâplease keep doors and windows closed.
- No parties or loud gatherings. This is a peaceful, family-friendly neighbourhood, so gatherings and excessive noise are not permitted.
- Quiet hours: Please respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am.
- No outdoor shoes indoors. Kindly remove shoes when inside the property.
- Well-behaved dogs are welcome, with a maximum of two allowed. The fee is ÂŁ55 for one dog and ÂŁ75 for two dogs. Pets must be kept off all furniture and beds at all times. You must inform us of any pets before your stay; failure to declare pets in advance or any breach of the house rules may result in a ÂŁ100 fine plus any additional cleaning costs.
- Candles & open flames: For fire safety, the use of candles, tealights, or any open flames is not permitted inside or outside the property.
- Care of the home: Please treat the property with care and respect throughout your stay.
Booking Policy
- Full payment is due 30 days before arrival and will be automatically charged to the card on file.
- If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the booking will be cancelled.
- Early payment is allowed (card fees up to 3% are non-refundable if cancelled).
Cancellation Policy
- Full refund if cancelled 30+ days before arrival.
- 50% refund if cancelled 14â30 days before arrival.
- No refund if cancelled within 14 days of arrival.
