- Events that exceed the maximum number of guests or require supervision are not allowed.

The only complaint we had was issues with the dryer, which my husband resolved. They did send a technician out, but he wasn’t going to be able to do anything different. The vent needs to be replaced with something other than the mesh outside to keep from clogging up. The love bugs and biting flies were horrible, guess we picked the wrong time. The property was nice, and our host were very quick to respond to any of our needs. We had a wonderful week.

Closeness to the beach was amazing! The house was exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately there was trash in the kitchen when we arrived and we couldn’t find a blender. Property management took care of it immediately. A 20 minute storm caused debris from the highway to flood the pool on Tuesday afternoon. Although we made several calls, the pool was not fixed until Friday at 5:30. It took them 30 min to fix and clean the pool. It was so unfair, we paid extra for a private pool and it wasn’t available for most of our trip. Still waiting to hear if they will refund part of our payment since we didn’t get a pool that was promised to us. Very disappointed with the whole experience.

Beautiful as advertised

The house is beautiful, everything was as advertised and in working order, beautiful view from the decks, a very short walk to the beach, beautiful sunsets, the area is not too crowded, lots of restaurant choices within 20 minutes or less. Highly recommend Sweet Escape.

We enjoyed our stay. Location directly on the beach. The pictures on the VRBO site are what you see in person. The only thing I would have liked better was to have at least a double or queen bed in the bedroom that had two twin beds. It would have better served our family.

Family Time

The "Sweet Escape" was perfect for our family vacation. The house was immaculate and the views breathtaking. We had the option of walking out on the beautiful St Joe beach or enjoying the ocean view from the relaxing pool. The "Sweet Escape" did not disappoint. (The only drawbacks are the construction on the lot next door which could get noisy at times and the three flights of stairs of 19 steps each.)

Fabulous Property

This was an incredible property and we loved our first visit to Port St. Joe and Mexico Beach! The management team was responsive and helpful answering questions. The pool was just completed and an added bonus to our visit! We used it every day. The property was recently updated and it is simply gorgeous. I would highly recommend Sweet Escape as it's name lived up to its reputation.

A Wonderful Experience

Easy close beach access. Pool was great for the kids when they got tired of the ocean. Kitchen was very well equipped with cooking gear, pots, pans, blender, crockpot, coffeemakers, etc. Wonderful views from all the porches. Unit was very clean. The area is much less commercialized than Panama City, Destin, etc. but that's what we prefer. A great trip for our family.

Great Time at Sweet Escape

Beautiful, clean, spacious, welcoming home with gorgeous, unobstructed views of the Gulf. Relaxing sounds and sites of the Gulf were wonderful 24/7 experiences from every one of the four levels. Exiting the property was a little challenging at times because of the traffic on the street behind the house, but this did not detract from our thorough enjoyment of the property. Being right on the beach allowed for immediate access to the powdery white sand and full front-row viewing of multiple spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Great, great time!!
