Single Level, Close To Beach, Great Beach View Covered Deck ~ Salt Cured

Salt Cured is a single level home well designed to maximize living space with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. This beach house has been recently updated by it's new owner and is located on a wooded lot with a great view of the gulf. For a very comfortable and relaxing vacation, enjoy all this house has to offer, such as an open sun deck, covered deck with plenty of seating, a well-stocked kitchen; and it is only 300 ft to the beach.

Floor Plan: Ground floor - covered parking, outdoor shower, charcoal grill. 1st Level - covered deck, living area with TV and BluRay/DVD, dining area, kitchen; Bedroom 1 with gulf view and queen bed; laundry room with stacked washer and dryer; full bath with tub/shower in hallway; Bedroom 2 with queen bed, TV; Bedroom 3 master with king bed, full bath with shower, walk-in closet, and private open deck.

Absolutely loved it!

House is so cute and comfortable! Up to date and well furnished! So close to the beach and a great porch for hanging out! Also, very close to the trading depot/donuts/ice cream! Salt Cured is on our list of favorite places! Thanks so much!

Great stay, as usual!

This rental is similar in location to where we always stay- not right on the beach but close enough. It has everything we want- a well-equipped kitchen, good sheets and towels, and a nice deck. Highly recommended!

Beautiful house in a beautiful place

The house is wonderful and a perfect place for a family. Very short walk to the beach, great deck for eating or hanging out, clean comfortable rooms, and all of the amenities a family needs. We also love how close it is to the Trading Post for groceries, donuts, ice cream, etc
 would highly recommend this place!

Apathetic Property Management

This is a decent house. Pristine Properties, the management company, is terrible. My family and I stayed at Salt Cured the week of Christmas. We were really excited since it was the only break we got after a horrific 2020. The place is decorated nicely and the location is good. Unfortunately, we found a few surprises upon arrival that we had to deal with. There were lights out all over the place in the master suite. The main overhead light in the bedroom was burned out, the light in the toilet was out, and the vanity fixtures had burned out bulbs. On the deck, the festoon string lights were plugged into a scorched GFCI receptacle that was missing a cover plate and was constantly tripping. In some of the other rooms the maintenance crew had put different color temperature bulbs mixed randomly in the fixtures. Not a show-stopper, but definitely a great way to make a decent place look trashy. The previous guests left greasy kid hand prints in the middle of the main TV, and there was a nasty spread of food chunks all over the inside of the dishwasher that the cleaning crew obviously missed. After driving six hours that last thing we wanted to do was clean someone’s gross food waste from a dishwasher. Because it was Christmas week, I didn’t want to raise a stink and try and get someone to the house. We knew the staff was with family and the office was closed. The problems we came across weren’t the end of the world and we didn’t want to let it ruin our trip. I sent Annie at Pristine Properties a short civil email (with pictures), and then we let it go. We’re not angry because we had to clean out someone’s food garbage and use the restroom in the dark all week. We’re angry because after I sent the initial email and completed two online surveys, nobody from Pristine Properties could be bothered with responding to us. We weren’t looking for a gushing apology or free beach cruisers, we just wanted someone to acknowledge the issues and respond. We didn’t even get an automated email reply. I waited over a week to post this after the holiday with the hope we’d get some correspondence once the office was re-opened. The silence is deafening. We’ll definitely return to Cape San Blas, but we’ll never rent from Pristine Properties again.

Relaxing

We wanted to "escape" and just relax away from home. In the midst of the pandemic this was a perfect choice. The location of Salt Cured was ideal. Just a short walk to the beach access and a short walk (2 blocks) to the Trading Post and St. Joe's Shrimp Company. I loved that. The house was very clean, nicely furnished, and well stocked in the kitchen. We loved sitting out on the deck for our meals. Wifi and tv access were great as well.

Great Spot & Great Trip!

The house was decorated so cute and had everything we needed. It's so close to the beach and has great views. With carrying the beach stuff down or needing to go back up to the house for something, it was not a far walk at all. We loved the covered porch and enjoyed sitting/eating out there. This house was perfect for two couples and our pups. We would definitely come back!
