Located in the popular, gated community of Barrier Dunes, this property has direct gulf views and is only steps away from the white sandy beach of Cape San Blas and the sparkling water of the Gulf. You will have a front row seat to the most spectacular sunsets of absolutely anywhere!
Tipsy Turtle has everything you need to feel at home and enjoy your stay. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this townhome comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests and 2 dogs and is the perfect size for most couples and single families. When you come in, you almost feel the upbeat energy and excitement of the owners, who are thrilled for you to enjoy their property!
When you walk up to the first floor, you immediately say, "Oh my gosh, this is so nice!" The whole place feels inviting and "beachy"! The living area is comfortable and welcoming with great furniture and a large flat screen TV. There is also a dining table with plenty of seating for everyone to eat together or play games. And before you really have a chance to look at anything else, the view out the sliding glass door catches your attention! You look out over the topical green space straight out to the Gulf! The roomy deck provides the perfect place to sit out, eat, drink, socialize, and enjoy the fantastic view!
Back inside, the kitchen is fully-stocked with everything you might need to prepare meals and eat in. There is a full-sized refrigerator with ice-maker, an electric stove, a microwave, and a dishwasher. There is also a Keurig-style coffee maker, a crock pot, a toaster, a blender, plenty of cookware, bakeware, dishes, cutlery, and glassware.
Also on the first level is a bright and welcoming bedroom with a private balcony that enjoys the morning sun. This bedroom gives plenty of room for four people to sleep comfortably in a queen-over-queen bunk bed. There is a flat screen TV for streaming (but you need your own account), or you can bring your own Roku or Amazon Fire stick, or bring a gaming system to plug in and keep the kids entertained (please understand there is no cable TV). This bedroom provides a great place for them to hang out and simply be together and have fun.
Also on the first level is a full bathroom with a toilet, a tub/shower combination, and a new vanity. The bathroom is conveniently located between the kitchen and the bedroom.
Upstairs, you are greeted by a large and inviting master suite with a king-size bed and large flat screen TV. This oasis offers an absolutely wonderful view of the Gulf with a private balcony to sit out with a cup of coffee or a drink to simply soak it all in. Off the bedroom is an open double vanity area, then there is a toilet and large walk-in tiled shower in a private en-suite bathroom. Also upstairs is a laundry room with a full-sized quality washer and dryer. The huge master suite offers plenty of space to unpack and settle in to fully enjoy this slice of paradise. (Please note, this is a typical Barrier Dunes unit and does not have a door on this bedroom.)
Tipsy Turtle has a great outdoor shower to rinse off when you come back from the beach. We provide four beach chairs and a cart to easily get your gear to the beach. You are right across the street from the two tennis/pickleball courts, as well as just steps from both the gulf front pool and the interior pool, which is next to the courts. The townhome has enough parking for two vehicles. Barrier Dunes is a great community for guests of all ages. The streets are safe for walking your dog as well as for your children or grandchildren to play or ride bikes.
Guests will enjoy a complimentary, custom-made bag â which is a personal gift from the property owner. They hope you will enjoy using it to carry your water and phone to the beach. Then take the bag home with you to continue using and enjoying your gift however works best for you!
