GULF VIEW TOWNHOME IN CAPE SAN BLAS


Welcome to At Ease This beautifully maintained three bedroom three and one half bath townhome is located in the popular Seacliffs Community on Cape San Blas Florida Seacliffs is a quiet well kept fifty four unit gated community tucked away at the northern end of the Cape adjacent to St Joseph Peninsula State Park with access to St Joe Bay.


The community features landscaped grounds a pool cabana and a large swimming pool located right next to At Ease The pool has been recently refinished and one gigabyte fiber optic internet has been installed throughout the community Families will appreciate the playground with swings and just steps from the unit is a wooden dune crossover leading directly to a secluded white sand beach.


At Ease is located in the first tier of buildings closest to the beach and offers expansive Gulf views from three private balconies Pets are welcome.


Since purchasing the unit in 2011 the owners have refreshed At Ease annually with new paint furnishings finishes décor and a fully stocked kitchen Recent upgrades include new living room couches and an area rug in 2025 replacement bay windows and freshly painted bays in 2024 and in 2023 updates to the master suite including new furniture a new walk in tiled shower twin mattresses and box springs replacement and removal of old insulation replaced with spray in foam to improve cooling efficiency In 2022 quartz countertops were installed in the kitchen and bathrooms along with new fixtures and a kitchen backsplash and the queen mattress and box springs were replaced.


The entire HVAC system was recently replaced and a mini split unit was added to keep the master suite extra comfortable All bathrooms feature new comfort height TOTO toilets and all floors throughout the unit are luxury vinyl plank accented with area rugs Each bedroom has been refurbished within the past five years with new furniture and case goods.


The main floor features an open concept kitchen dining area living room and half bath The living room includes two eighty four inch sofas that seat six a swivel tilt chair and a cozy rattan chair all styled with relaxed coastal décor and artwork Entertainment options include a fifty five inch HDTV with YouTube TV offering over one hundred channels Netflix streaming a Blu ray DVD player and even a VCR Complimentary one gig Wi Fi and free unlimited long distance calling within the United States are included.


Step out onto the large deck to enjoy patio seating dining furniture and stunning Gulf views overlooking the beach and pool perfect for relaxing with a cool drink.


The second floor features a queen bedroom suite with a private covered balcony Gulf views and a full bath with tub shower combination The second floor also includes a twin bedroom with a private bath and a charming bay window nook with Gulf views.


The third floor is a spacious redecorated master suite featuring a king size bed new in 2023 a walk in closet flat screen TV and private bath with a walk in tiled shower and double sink vanity Enjoy sweeping Gulf views and watch the waves or pelicans from the private balcony off the master suite.

My family and I had a wonderful stay!! The home felt cozy to where I wasn't afraid to actually enjoy myself with my kids. The distance to the beach was close to walk but far away enough I didn't have tons of people walking around. The host made sure to keep us updated with power outages which was great due to the weather. We also were able to enjoy a heated pool. Highly suggest this option if you have little ones as the ocean may be too cold. I especially liked the elevator which made it incredibly easy to move luggage, groceries, etc throughout the house. Our first night, one of the bathroom drains wasn't working well. A simple text was sent, and it was fixed the next morning! The only thing that I would say was that there were no hangers in the downstairs bedroom armoire to hang clothes nor did the room have a closet or dresser. Overall it was an excellent place to stay. Clean, convenient, and accessible. Our stay was amazing!!

No major issues, but would not stay againjh

Let me start by saying the company who manages the home was very communicative and responsive through text before we got there... we added damage insurance etc. and they were super helpful. However, once we got to the home and I sent them photos of issues, there was no communication at all. When we got there the bench to the dining room table was broken...if you sat on it you were going over and it was large... we had a toddler that we had to keep away from it and we didn't have enough seating at the table without it. Also, a chair in the living room was broken. I sent photos of both with no reply. Mainly wanted to make sure they didn't blame on us. On our first day, we found three large roaches on the top floor of the home... I sent photos with no reply. We found more than a few more during our stay. The biggest issue was the lack of air in the bedroom on the first floor. My husband and I stayed in that bedroom because we thought it would be best for an infant based on noise etc. That room stayed about 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the home and was SO humid. Neither of us slept well the whole week. I had seen this issue in earlier reviews so I called the week before to make sure it had been fixed and they assured me it had, but it has definitely not been fixed. I am not sure if the unit is just not big enough for the home or what. We still had fun and the home had plenty of room and kids enojoyed porches, pool and beach but I would not go back.

Nice stay

We enjoyed our week here. It is close to the walkway for the beach. The pool was nice in the hot July weather. The house was clean. It appears to be full time rental rather than someone’s part time home as kitchen was a little sparse. There were no hangers in closet (not a big deal, just sparse). The downstairs room was hot compared to rest of house, not sure if AC working on main floor where my husband and I stayed. The other rooms on second floor and the third floor living space stayed cool. The decks face west so sunset was good on nights without clouds. A lot of beach houses we have stayed have chairs to take to beach, but this one does not. We ended up renting. The biggest disappointment was having our beach shade stolen from the beach. It seemed like a safe area and many others would leave their shades up since they are a lot of work to set up. Sadly ours and others got taken. Because you are close to the public walkway, the trade off is that the beach was very busy in that area so we had to walk a ways down the beach with it being a busy week.
