I have a lot to say. First! The view is AMAZING. Our kids saw 2 Eagles on our first day. They have an Amazing water view from the master bedroom. A huge yard for our kids to play and run around, a trampoline and also pool table, puzzles and many more fun game activities there. Our kids loved the sea and have time to go down to the beach and picked shells. A lot of beds and sofa beds provided for our big family to sleep in. We loved it.

The house was a total mess when we got there with someone trying to mow 3 ft tall grass.

The house was totally dirty throughout with blankets and dirty linen piled on the beds. The front and rear entries were full of tree debris and was carried in throughout the downstairs. We all just slept on top of beds with no sheets. We tried many times to call and did not get through.

The house was very spacious and beautiful! We loved all the sitting room and opportunities for privacy. Bedrooms were upstairs and were very large and comfortable. Many windows looked out to the water and it was very relaxing. Kitchen and bathrooms, as well as laundry room all were accessible and great for our group.

Never Again.....

Will never again stay at a Vacasa property... Where do I start... Our first grievance began upon arrival, and unfortunately was not our last. The front yard appears to have lacked any form of landscaping for a significant amount of time, resulting in grass/weeds that were knee high (or higher) in many spots. Entering the house did not change for the better. After entering the code for the keypad, the alarm proceeded to go off and would not consistently turn off. It ended up becoming a constant issue, to the point where the keypad required the batteries to be removed. Once we managed to enter the house, more shortcomings were discovered... Just some of our experience: -Landscaping/yard maintenance was nonexistent and the path to the bayfront was not navigable -Front Door alarm repeatedl going off whenever door was opened which required us to remove the batteries. -basic supplies not provided in appropriate quantities: toilet paper, only 1 hand towel for each bathroom, Not enough dishes or dishwasher detergent, trash bags etc. no laundry detergent and no extra bed linens. (the bed linens were needed since one of the beds had sheets with blood from previous renters) -No propane for the grill and it was dirty with no tools available to clean. Kitchen only had one hand towel.. -Kitchen tap was only hot water and the fridge water dispenser did not work correctly and did not make ice... -Air conditioning not functional -Don't get me started on the cleanliness!!! We had to sweep when we got there and had two good piles of obvious debris. Moldy flowers in the kitchen, dirty rugs and toilets... Don't think it was cleaned at all, looks like maintenance came in and made the beds then left... -Pictures are not at all what is there... Only one ottoman with no cushion in sitting area... The biggest issue with all of this is that we contacted them within two hours of check-in to let them know our concerns. We also replied to the text with the cleanliness rating as 2... NO RESPONSE.... The next morning we get a text back saying sorry we will contact local management.... It took 6 hours with multiple texts and phone calls before local management came in (unannounced except for door alarm) with some toilet paper and propane... No response on rest of issues. Contacted Vacasa after our stay with a lengthy/detailed complaint. no response, emailed again. Finally receiving a partial refund... Not as much as I had hoped but they did EVENTUALLY work with me...

It lived up to expectations. Only issue was no cold water in kitchen and lack of paper products, ie garbage bags paper towels. No trash cans and when trash bags were put in front yard some animal ripped them up.

Disappointed

The views from the house are beautiful, but the house is old and not updated or kept up. Was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the home, yard hadn’t been mowed in weeks as the weeds and grass were knee high, the path to the beach was not kept up at all either. The deck was filthy and needs pressure washing, the BBQ grill is completely rusted on the inside, garbage was overflowing upon arrival and there weren’t enough towels and blankets for everyone. called twice our first day about some of these issues and someone came out and emptied the trash
..nothing else was addressed. It’s also a very loud house and the mattress in the master bedroom is old and ‘sinky’. Both of the advertised game tables were broken and/or missing pieces. The kids did have fun on the trampoline. We made the most of our stay but would not be staying here again on future visits.

This house was very spacious and the views of the bay are gorgeous!

This house suited our large family really well with plenty of rooms, spacious areas, and comfortable bedding. A few notes to explain the 4-star review: no hot water upon arrival, grass more than 12” tall, and broken football table directly in the entry way - however all were minor inconveniences and hopefully the owner will take care of these before the next guests arrive.

Spacious property that needs some SERIOUS TLC

This place has so much potential. The view is beautiful. The house is spacious and COULD be comfortable BUT the lack of maintenance (chirping fire alarm needing battery replacement, several burnt out light bulbs, poorly equipped kitchen;, barely enough warm water for ONE short shower, stained bedsheets and coverlets, neglected and overgrown landscaping) and the lack of cleanliness (pet odors, dirty dishes in the cabinets and dirty countertops, kitchen floor was filthy, soiled and stained towels in the bathrooms, hair on toilet seats, dried toothpaste spattered on glass doors in master bath shower, dried muddy footprints from back door through entire first floor, dried “goo” on floor under dining room table and up table legs and on chairs; tabletop in kitchen sticky and dirty; debris, dog hair, food bits, confetti covering the carpet and floor in living room, all carpets needing vacuuming at the least
) would prevent me from renting a Vacasa property again.

Good time in port orchard

The property and backyard were beautiful. Great location, very responsive host, she brought us the extra sheets we needed very promptly and also gave us some money back because there weren’t enough sheets there. The only downside was that some of the pull out couches were dirty (had popcorn in crevices) and we didn’t have enough sheets at first.

Short family get together

Location and house was great. We enjoyed walking on the beach at low tide, watching eagles and other birds. Very old, broken trampoline in the backyard is dangerous and should be removed. The pull out couch upstairs was broken with a sign on it. Luckily we were not planning to use it. The TV in the main area is streaming. To watch live TV, we had to sign up fir You Tube TV

Amazing view but needs more detail cleaning before guest arrival

The house is wonderful for large gatherings. The view is amazing. The major issue was the cleaning of the property and the sewer system/drainage in the back yard. I cleaned the kitchen cabinets and swept the downstairs floor before the rest of our family arrived. I did send pictures via text to the number that sent us our code for the property. No response.

Gorgeous views next to puddles of raw sewage

This house is old. The interior has been updated but nothing has been done to the exterior. There doesn’t seem to be any kind of maintenance. Overgrown weeds, trash, puddles of RAW SEWAGE in the yard right next to the deck. Enjoy your drink on the deck or in the yard along with the stench of raw sewage. GROSS! Oh and avoid those puddles at all costs! Notice how the grass is green & healthier in that particular section of the yard?! Walk around it! The path to the beach has broken glass bottles, overgrown weeds and ends next to a pipe dripping raw sewage. Now to the interior - it has been remodeled so it’s not bad. Views are amazing. If I was the owner, I would immediately fire the cleaning service. Ive stayed at lots of vrbo, airbnb, hotels and this was THE WORSE cleaning job. To think we paid almost $$ for a cleaning fee is ridiculous for that amount of work. We went to Fred Meyer to get bleach, dishwashing pods (they ran the dishwasher without detergent?!) and sanitizing wipes. 1st hour was spent cleaning - sweeping up all the visible debris especially in the kitchen and running loads of laundry for the bedding. We found used qtips in the 2nd bedroom with a view and bloodstained comforter. No toilet paper anywhere in the master bathroom - yep, they just left an empty cardboard roll. No hot water in that bathroom either. Hot water worked in the other 2 bathrooms though. Multiple lights were out. I emailed them the 1st night (Fri) and Homero G responded that someone local would contact me the following morning. I checked out Monday and still no one contacted me. My group had 5 young kids under the age of 5 and it was dangerous with no lights on the stairs. So my suggestion to everyone is to go. Find another property. This house has many similar reviews- read them and judge. No gorgeous view is worth it if you have to step over raw sewage.

The house is clean but the backyard is very bad. The Grass is very high. The sewer in the backyard is full that makes stinky and dirty water goes up. The BBQ drill is no gas. We can use hot water on 1st day. The 2nd day, the water is so cold.

This house is beautiful and we loved the sound view and private beach. The backyard and path to the beach was really overgrown with weeds and stickers. Would have been nice to have the lawn mowed and get to the beach easier but overall a great stay!!

First floor toilet plugged and reported by last tenant. Not addressed and we moved in for weekend. Dirty, never dusted, and of course smelly. No response yet from Vacasa, except for too bad and we’ll try the local property manager who—get this—still hasn’t called. Heat at 60 when we moved in—first night at 66.

Beautiful home

Beautiful spacious home. Wish we could have stayed longer. Downsides were the washing machine didn’t work and dirty towels were left inside. Downstairs toilet wouldn’t flush. Master bedroom sheets had stains and we could not get the heater to work. Wrote the property manager but never received a response. Things were otherwise clean and good.

Stunning Views

We stayed with my family this last weekend and were absolutely overwhelmed by the beauty of the view. The photos truly do not do it justice. We had pretty much everything we needed and had an all around fabulous time.
