Great Location !!!!

The apartment was in a great location, short walk to Port City Bowling Club and city centre. Fantastic views, especially watching the sun rise in the morning !!!! Wiseberry's were great to deal with, even with a change of dates. Would be very happy to stay here again.

Family Holiday

The property is very spacious and has beach views from both balconies. Its a very comfortable unit and i highly recommend it. Wiseberry Port Macquarie are amazing to deal with, they make the process so easy and their customer service is incredible. We will only ever use Wiseberry to book our future holidays. Overall fantastic week in Port Macquarie

Great for a family holiday

The location and size of the property more than make up for it being a bit tired. In fact it made us feel more relaxed. The property has a huge amount of space inside and has 2 large balconies , great for sitting watching the sea , and the sunrise/sunset. Although we had access to a car, we like to walk and picked this property specifically for its location . It was a short and easy walk to Town Beach , and onto the CBD. We also walked to Flynns beach. Thank you very much, we'd stay here again

Excellent family unit

Great unit, three clean bedrooms, two clean bathroom, great kitchen. Fans and sea breeze made up for no air con. Eastern aspect saved the western hot sun. Dated unit, but that just added to the ease of having a family there. Easy walk to town beach and the Bowling club. 1 km easy walk to the town centre. Would book again.

Dated but great location and spacious

Great apartment for a family - lots of space and comfortable for an older apartment and building. Location is a great combination of close to the beach and to town. The biggest draw back was that the fly screens onto the balcony did not have locks/latches which wasn’t ideal when trying to control the movements of our 18 month old; could be easily resolved though. Essential that latching balcony doors stayed open to capitalise on the breeze, as the apartment has no air conditioning.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is on the 7th floor of the Fountain Court complex, which has a lift. The property is old and could do with maintenance from sticking doors to get into the complex to sliding doors in the actual apartment. The dishwasher was unusable as it was leaking because the door didn’t seal, but this was not an important factor to us. The unit is very spacious, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and large living areas which lead out to verandahs with water views. It has a washer and dryer as well as a clothes airer. The accommodation needs a really good deep clean. We spent our first few hours there cleaning and, although I like a clean house, I am not overly fussy. The unit had been surface cleaned but the main toilet had not been cleaned properly and we found a plate behind the curtains in the lounge. We then had to go out and buy cockroach spray the next day as we had numerous cockroaches, large and small, coming from behind the dishwasher and in the kitchen. This unit could be so much better with a good clean, pest control and maintenance. We have rented a number of times in Port Macquarie and this is the first accommodation where I have submitted negative feedback. Note also there is no airconditioning, just floor fans but a wonderful breeze comes through the sliding doors. The Port Macquarie Bowling Club is just down the road and it is a short walk to the water and about 15-20 walk minutes to town centre.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place smelt stale when I arrived. I opened all windows and left for a few hours. It still smelt the same when I came back. I think the carpet is old and needs replacing/removing. I got sick from it for the duration of my stay. The shower curtains were also mouldy. I stayed 4 of the 5 nights I had booked and asked for a refund for the final night due to the above issues. I have not received anything yet.

Cooking utensils unuseable, beds worse than street discarded ones. Patio door almost unlockable, filthy filthy filthy, rangehood caked with grease that dripped onto cooktop, personal fans unuseable due to dirt and dust. we had to scrub kitchen and pantry before we could unpack our food. Embarrasment to the paying public
