Welcome to Copper Bottom Cottage, a four-bedroom waterfront retreat in the channels of gated Long Island Village. Gather on the spacious covered deck above the canal, fish from the water's edge, and spread out across two levels with room for eight. The lower unit has its own entrance, and every bedroom has a streaming TV. Your stay includes the community's indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, par-3 golf, tennis, and marina, with South Padre Island beaches about ten minutes over the causeway.



The Space:

Copper Bottom Cottage sits right on the channels of Long Island Village, a gated waterfront resort community in Port Isabel. The copper-colored, two-story home is built for water lovers, with a spacious covered deck overlooking the canal and easy access to the water for fishing and boating.



Inside, there is room for everyone. The main level holds the open living, kitchen, and dining areas along with the primary king suite and an upstairs guest room. The lower unit has its own private entrance, a second living area, two more bedrooms, and a full bathroom, making it ideal for extended family or two groups traveling together. Every bedroom has a streaming-capable TV, and the whole home is kept comfortable with central refrigerated air.



When you are ready to explore, the resort amenities of Long Island Village are included with your stay, and the beaches of South Padre Island are a short drive over the causeway.

Sleeping Arrangements

Total occupancy: up to 8 guests across four bedrooms. Upstairs, the Primary Bedroom features a king bed and a private bathroom, and the Upstairs Guest Room offers a queen bed. Downstairs, accessed by a separate private entrance, you will find two more bedrooms, one with a full bed and one with a queen, along with a second living area and a full bathroom. Every bedroom includes a streaming-capable TV.



Bathrooms

Copper Bottom Cottage offers three full bathrooms, each with a walk-in shower. The primary bathroom adjoins the king suite upstairs, a second full bath serves the upstairs guest room, and a third full bath is located in the lower unit. Fresh towels and standard bath amenities are provided.



Living Areas

The main living room sits under a vaulted, beamed ceiling with comfortable seating, a smart TV, and big windows that bring in the water and light. It opens to the kitchen and dining so the whole group stays connected. Downstairs, the lower unit has its own sitting area, giving a second group their own space to relax.



Kitchen & Dining

The full kitchen is well equipped for cooking in, with granite counters, dark wood cabinetry, a gas range, and an island with bar seating. A dining nook tucked into a bay window gives you a water view with every meal, and the covered deck is ready whenever you want to eat outside.



Outdoor Space

The covered deck is the heart of this home, running along the canal with space to dine, lounge, and watch the boats go by. The patio is gated, which is a help with little ones and pets. The water is right there for fishing, and boat docking is available at the community marina.



Long Island Village Resort

Your stay includes access to all the amenities of Long Island Village, a gated waterfront resort community. Swim in the indoor and outdoor pools, soak in the hot tubs, and tee off on the par-3 golf course. Play tennis, pickleball, sand volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard, or mini golf, then head indoors for the fitness center, billiards and game room, and activity halls. The community also offers a marina, on-site dining, and miles of canal-front to explore.

Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the entire two-level home, including the main living areas, kitchen, all four bedrooms, the covered waterfront deck, and the lower unit with its separate entrance, plus all the shared amenities of Long Island Village.



Self check-in is available through a lock box, so arrival is simple and flexible. Keys stay with the lock box at the home, so please do not take them to the office. Your booking includes access to the community amenities; pick up your gate card and wristbands at the Welcome Center and return them there at the end of your stay.



Parking is available on site. Long Island Village has limited parking and vehicle-size restrictions, so large trucks, vans, and oversized SUVs may not fit. Please plan ahead and reach out with any questions before you arrive.



The Neighborhood:

Long Island Village is a gated waterfront resort community in Port Isabel, set along quiet canals just across the bay from South Padre Island. The community is known for its resort amenities, including indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, a par-3 golf course, tennis and pickleball courts, a marina, and on-site dining. Port Isabel's historic lighthouse, shops, and seafood restaurants are minutes away, and the beaches of South Padre Island are a short drive over the Queen Isabella Causeway.



Getting Around:

A car is the easiest way to get around. South Padre Island is roughly a 10 to 15 minute drive over the Queen Isabella Causeway, and Port Isabel's downtown is just minutes away. Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport is about 30 minutes by car, and Valley International Airport in Harlingen is around 45 minutes. Within Long Island Village, the community is easy to explore on foot or by golf cart.



Other Things to Note:

• Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM.

• Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM in consideration of our neighbors.

• Maximum occupancy is 8 guests. Only registered guests are permitted on the property.

• Pets are welcome. Please let us know in advance so we can confirm any details.

• This is a gated community, and access to all Long Island Village amenities is included with your stay. A gate card and wristbands for entry and the amenities can be picked up at the Welcome Center.

• Parking is limited with vehicle-size restrictions. Oversized vehicles may not fit, and any HOA parking fines are the responsibility of the guest.

• Please take all trash with you on departure. A garbage compactor is located next to the tennis courts on your way out of the community.

• The home is two levels with stairs, including a lower unit with a separate entrance.

• Every reservation includes accidental damage protection for added peace of mind.

• Additional fees and taxes may apply to your reservation total.

• No smoking, parties, or events.

On a private island

Everything is within a 3mile radius. This place has plenty of space and showers are huge. You can walk to the activity center from this home. AC worked awesome and the BBQ pit was a bonus. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Strongly recommend this cottage. Also, u can fish right out the bottom balcony. The permanent residents there were very pleasant. Every home there is different and unique. Pick this one.

Check-in was simple and easy.The property was neat, easily accessible from the beach, wonderful propane barbecue pit, fishing from the deck; kitchen and kitchenware was fully stocked; four beds, amenities were great- golf, pool, pickle ball court, very friendly community.3 out of 4 of the beds were uncomfortable. The king size bed and the bedroom on the bottom floor with the restroom was too soft. The second bedroom on the top floor was too hard. The second bedroom on the bottom was perfect. Wifi was not connected initially; mold was in the ceiling of both restrooms on the top floor; a/c went out the second night but was restored by the next morning. Roku stick did not work.I would recommend this place only if the issues were corrected. Really loved the kitchen with its utensils, cutting boards, pots, pans, silverware, seasonings, etc. Make sure you bring your own water.
