Our Happy Place is the ultimate lake front escape and the only vacation home rental on iconic Perry Street in Port Clinton, Ohio. Our Happy Place is a beautiful 4-square home that is over 100 years old with all of the original woodwork and soaring ceilings that one would expect, but with also fully renovated kitchen and bathrooms. The cook's kitchen has stainless steel appliances, large island, a gas range and quartz counter tops. Don't want to cook? No problem! You can walk to numerous downtown restaurants, bars, popcorn shops and ice cream stores! Enjoy Music On Madison during the summer where the street downtown is blocked off for live music on the weekends. You can also walk to the Jet Express ferry which will whisk you away to Put-in-Bay Island or Kelly's Island for a day of adventure. The owners are hyper focused on cleanliness. They have stayed at too many vacation rentals where the owners clean the sheets but not the quilts for each new guest. All bedding linens and quilts are crisp and freshly laundered. Ever rented a place and there were stains on the furniture? Not here. The furniture has slip-covers that are fresh washed for each new guest. The front of the house has a large lake-front, covered patio with rocking chairs and expansive front yard. back of the house has a HUGE concrete patio with umbrella tables, grill, party lights, and a view of the lake. The first floor has a large kitchen, dining room, family room, half bath and game room. The 2nd floor has 4 bedrooms (3 with king-size beds and one room with double bunk beds) and 2 full baths. The full baths open to a king bedroom and to the hallway, so can be used as an on-suite or for multiple bedrooms. The third floor is an open loft with a kitchenette, large closet, full bathroom and five single beds. Two of the single beds can be pushed together for a king bed.
