Summary:
Experience the ultimate blend of bayfront tranquility and coastal adventure in our brand-new tiny home. Just a short walk from the beach, this home boasts panoramic water views and direct bay access. Designed with chic, modern decor and all the comforts you need, it's the perfect spot for your next getaway.

The Space:
The cozy living area includes lounge seating and a flat-screen TV. The fully equipped kitchen features a two-burner stove, convection microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, and complete dishware, along with a fold-out dining table for four. Bedrooms with plush queen-sized beds and individual flat-screen TVs ensure peaceful rest, while the modern bathroom offers a spacious walk-in shower and ample storage.

The Neighborhood:
With its calm and tranquil waters, the Bay is the perfect place for fishing and kayaking. You can also take a leisurely stroll along the shoreline or sit back and enjoy the stunning sunsets over the water. There are plenty of outdoor activities to keep you entertained during your stay.

Getting Around:
Make sure to get your beach parking sticker from major retailers before hitting the beach.

Other Things to Note:
The water heater 'ON' switch is located by the kitchen sink.

The peninsula is reachable by the Western ferry and Eastern bridge. Travelers from Houston take Interstate 45 to Galveston, then take the free Galveston-Bolivar Ferry on a 20-minute ride to Port Bolivar, where the Bolivar Lighthouse rises 117 feet above sea level.

Our stay was great! Checking in not so great. I messaged the host at noon let him know we would be arriving around 4 (we could check in as early as 3) I asked for the key code a few times with not message back. We did arrive around 4 with no key code could not get the house to answer us. I reached out to VROB for help a nice man helped by getting a hold of the host he finally texted the key code at 4:30 with no apologies. If he had an emergency or something he should have told us. Thanks Pam

Birding at High Island Girls Trip

One of my friends and I stayed at this Bay Front location because of it's proximity to High Island and the Houston Audubon Society locations there. We drove daily to the Boy Scout Woods Sanctuary and the Smith Oaks Sanctuary in High Island and it was so convenient. The view was beautiful!I loved the floor plan of this tiny house. My friend took the bedroom next to the full bath and I took the bedroom with the half bath on the other side. We shared the shower in the full bath but for dressing and makeup, we each had our own sink and mirror. Speaking of the shower, I have to mention the water pressure. It was outstanding! I wish I had such good pressure at home. It made washing my long hair much easier. This living room and kitchen combo located in the middle of the two bedrooms felt roomy with just two people. You could easily fit two couples in this unit but it felt really roomy with only two of us. There was a separate A/C unit in each area with a total of 3 units. The bedrooms had sliding doors and we could set the temperatures to our personal choice within our own bedroom. The kitchen had a Microwave/Convection/AirFry combination unit. We used the Convection Bake option to warm up our left over pizza. There is a two-burner stovetop buy we didn't need it. The kitchen was well stocked for dishes and utensils.Overall, I highly recommend this place but I probably shouldn't because I hope it is available the next time I want to come down: )

Great Stay on Bay

We had a nice 2 night stay at this bay front VRBO rental. Perfect size for the 2 of us though there are 2 bedrooms. Bed was comfortable, it is new and very clean, had what we needed and we had a small dock with a picnic table which we would have used but it was too windy. It was very quiet and peaceful. Perfect spot to stay if you plan to go birding at High Island and Bolivar Flats.

Excellent location for empty beaches

This tiny home worked well for the five of us, having two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms. The location is ideal: a little pier where you can watch ships go by on the bay side, and the waves of the gulf a short walk across the highway. Nice, new place.
