Perfect cozy little cabin to staying in. Found everything to be as advertised. Super comfortable beds, mine was even adjustable and had a massaging feature. Amazing view from the second row. Great location with beach access and not too far from any stores, bait shops, or the ferry. Can say for certain that I will stay here in the future if available.

Great beach house

We have been twice now and love this cute beach house. It is awesome distance from beach (2nd row). Easy check in/out process. No issues during stay. Recommend 10/10!

Not as advertised-Very poor conditions

The overall condition and uncleanliness of this cabin is unacceptable. It was so bad that we could not stay for our booked reservation. It was disgustingly unclean. Furniture is badly stained and nasty. Tub/shower combo's have badly stained tub rings in them. One of the mattresses on a queen bed was damaged and caved in on one side. Immediately contacted host about the conditions and explained it was unfit for us to stay there. He sent me a text in return from his cleaning person assuring it was clean. I in turn sent him pictures to prove otherwise and that it was definitely not clean. He thanked me for the pictures and offered to send the cleaning person back to clean again and he would refund me the cleaning fee if I stayed. I declined due to the other problems beyond the dirtiness such as stained furniture, broken seating, and broken mattress. He told me that he was aware of the mattress problem! Asked host if he wanted to come see the conditions himself but host said he was out of town and I that I could go through VRBO for my complaints. I am shocked that a place in this condition is allowed to be advertised thru VRBO. I cannot understand how the place has received good reviews other than the close proximity to the beach. This review process will not allow me to attach pictures, so I am looking for another way to add my proof of my claims.

Beach house

The stay this trip wasn’t a good one. AC wasn’t working properly downstairs. It was 78 degrees up until past midnite every nite. The downstairs north bedroom bed was very un comfortable , missing slats on the bottom and needed new box springs and mattress. If I’m going to spend this kind of money I should be able to sleep at nite. Too warm and a back ache. Place in general needs many upgrades. No picnic table outside. I was very disappointed and won’t ever be back. It’s a shame too. It was our family getaway every summer

Perfect Location

Let’s start with the absolute best feature of this property, and that is it’s very close proximity to the beach! You can easily walk if you choose not to buy a beach permit. The second row views from the deck were very nice as well. The host was great and quick with communication. We had one issue during our stay (out of the host control) and our host had the problem resolved in just a few hours. Sure, some stuff is dated as you will read, but it is a rental so who cares! It had zero impact on our stay. As a family with young children it was the perfect spot!

Another Perfect Stay!

This is the third year we have stayed a week for my daughters birthday, and once again we were not disappointed. It really is only 100 steps away from the beach! The house has everything you need for a great beach getaway. Communication with the manager is instantaneous. Rent this one, you won’t be disappointed!!!

The house was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Communication wirh property manager was great. Somehow i missed where it said no linens were provided, so we had to make a trip to the store for towels and bed linens.Overall a great weekend and would stay here again.

1. Hair in upstairs bathtub and on the sofa 2. Missing sink stopper in upstairs bathroom. Handheld shower head would not stay up 3. Stopped-up toilet in upstairs bathroom. Had to plung it before we could use it 4. Front door handle almost off. Had to screw it back in so we could open the door 5. Spiders in downstairs bed 6. Mildewed/stained sofa cushions 7. Some kitchen table chairs were rickety. Not sturdy enough for larger people to feel safe to sit on 8. Batteries missing in TV remote

Beautiful house, short walk to the beach!

We had a great time on Spring Break at this beautiful beach getaway! The kitchen was great for cooking breakfast and dinner and the house had a great view and was just a short walk to the beach. There’s some expected wear and tear on the exterior, as there is with most coastal homes, but the inside was kept up nicely. Ceiling fans in bedrooms were pretty noisy, but otherwise everything was awesome! The host is very kind and communicative! We loved our experience and would 10/10 stay here again :)

Great family place near the beach

This is a nice house near the beach. The host was very responsive and flexible. The house does show some wear and tear like many rental properties but is still in good shape. The grills downstairs are pretty rusty and probably need to be replaced soon. I would also recommend to clean up the AC ducts. Some of them were visibly dusty. Overall, great property for some fun beach time.

Crystal Beach gem!

This was our third stay at this property. We alway come back because it’s just perfect! We have our annual Texas beach trip every year with a group of 10. Perfect fit for sure. The property manager is very responsive anytime we have questions. 10 out of 10! Would definitely recommend đŸ„°

Nice place

Great location. Sleeps a good number of people. Only negative is that it needs some TLC. Out side faucet beside stairs and at far end of the deck leaked. Just dripping. that did not bother us but as a heads up, it could cause rotting. The one thing that you could do to instantly make a difference is go to Sams or Costco and get two non stick pans. They will cost less then $30 bucks. Then throw away all the pans that are there. . They are yucky. Overall, I would come again.
