Broadstone village , an easy five minute walk away via the Castlemain Trailway, has a couple of pubs, several eateries, and a range of small shops. From Broadstone village there is a regular bus service to Poole town centre in one direction and Wimborne in the other.

Just a short drive away, the historic town of Wimborne Minster is worth a visit, known for its stunning medieval architecture, including the impressive Wimborne Minster itself. The town is also home to the fascinating Model Town, a miniature replica of Wimborne from the 1950s.

The nearby town of Poole, with its historic quay, offers boat trips to Brownsea Island and Swanage. Popular day trips include Dorchester, the New Forest and the Jurassic Coast.
