Embrace the essence of coastal living in this modern 4 br home. Directly on the beach, this home features spectacular views and plenty of space to make lasting memories.



The Space:

Welcome to Sandy Chic! Memories await you at this beautiful, Nantucket inspired beach home. You will arrive to a beautiful abode with hardwood floors throughout. The 3 full bathrooms have been completely renovated and there are 4 bedrooms which have fresh, hi-quality linens, fresh towels and comfortable beds. The oceanfront master bedroom features a plush king bed and private full bathroom. The 2nd bedroom is also on the ocean and has a queen bed. Bedroom 3 has two twin beds and shares a full bathroom with the 3rd bedroom. The kids’ room has two bunk beds, lots of games, and a full bathroom. The open floor-plan features an extra large family room which offers the perfect escape from the afternoon sun with panoramic views of the ocean, a vaulted ceiling and a stone fireplace (not available for use until further notice, as it is undergoing repairs) . The house has a separate dining area overlooking the beautiful Guana State Nature Preserve. The spacious kitchen is fully stocked with everything the picky chef could ask for. The best part is that all three areas open to each other, creating a wonderfully, social space for friends and family.



This home is nestled between the soft sands of South Ponte Vedra Beach and The Guana State Park. Enjoy the vast views of the ocean from the rear of the home to the beautiful orange and pink sunsets that serenade over Guana Park. Stroll for sea shells and sharks teeth along this desolate strip of the beach, or drop a line for surf fishing. Enjoy the gentle ocean breeze under the shade of a large umbrella on the beach while your family plays in the afternoon tide pools or makes sand castles. Dig your toes into the sand while you count the dolphins and shrimp boats. Keep an alert eye for the turtle patrol atop their 4 wheel ATVs.



While you are here, you can rent a stand up paddle board or surfboard, and we have people that will come to the house to teach you how to do it! We can also get you connected with a fishing guide for in shore or off shore excursions, as well as a fisherman who will come to the house and get everyone on some fish! If you don’t feel like cooking in the kitchen, fire up the gas grill ! We provide the propane for you! If you feel like pampering yourself, we have a massage therapist who will come to the house to give you a relaxing body rub. Or, start your morning off with some yoga on the beach!



Experience the beauty of sandy shores where you can swim, sunbathe, surf, paddleboard, and fish. Take leisurely walks along the beach to discover treasures like shark teeth, sand dollars, and sea glass.



Explore Anastasia State Park for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, birdwatching, and picnicking in a stunning coastal setting.



Discover the rich history of Historic St. Augustine by visiting landmarks like Castillo de San Marcos, St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum, and the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park.



Stroll down St. George Street, a pedestrian only thoroughfare in the heart of the historic district, lined with charming shops, restaurants, galleries, and historic sites.



Immerse yourself in the Gilded Age at the Lightner Museum, housed in a historic hotel, showcasing a diverse collection of art, antiques, and artifacts.



Experience the thrill of getting up close to alligators, crocodiles, and exotic animals at St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park, which also offers educational shows, zip lines, and exhibits of native Florida wildlife.



Take a scenic short ferry ride to Fort Matanzas National Monument, a historic Spanish fort located on Rattlesnake Island. Learn about its role in protecting St. Augustine during the colonial period while enjoying views of the surrounding marshlands.

Please note, that all guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement and provide a valid form of ID. The primary reservation holder must provide a Government-Issued ID that matches the name on the rental agreement. This is a requirement from St. Johns County. All guest's names (first and last) must be provided. The ages of any minors are required to be listed. This is for emergency and insurance purposes.



Guest Access:

We offer convenient keyless door codes for self-check-in. Wren Beach Rentals by Portoro uses smart locks with check-in details provided 48 hours prior to arrival by email and text message.



‱ Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.



Getting Around:

Immerse yourself in the blend of adventure and activity by renting a bicycle. Lose yourself in enchanting streets, uncover hidden treasures, and enjoy the ocean breeze. Take in a leisurely pace with beachfront strolls, explore shops, and savor local cuisine on foot.



Enhance your experience with a sunset cruise, offering breathtaking views and the chance to spot playful dolphins. For the adventurous, rent kayaks, paddleboards, and other watercraft to explore our beautiful estuaries and waterways.



Local favorites include Brewer Beach Rentals, St. Augustine City Tours, and Adventure Boat Tours.



Please note that beach driving is not permitted. Beach access points can be found on Coastal Hwy at even-numbered properties and on the 3000 block on S. Ponte Vedra, specifically odd-numbered properties.



Other Things to Note:

Please pay close attention to following the house rules. Non compliance could result in sizable fines.

- All guests staying at one of our Starkey Properties by Portoro homes are required to sign (esignature) a rental agreement and complete identity registration.

- Age restrictions apply. Reservation holder must be 25 years of age.

- All guests must be included on the guest list and not exceed the maximum number stated on the listing.

- Upon arrival, we aim to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features. ALL guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Starkey Properties by Portoro.

- Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.

- Before check in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival.

- Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

- We cannot guarantee early check ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.

- Some homes offer pools/hot tubs. There is no guard around the water features when available. Use at your own risk.

- Some homes have cameras for external monitoring only.

- Stays over 29 days – please inquire separately for terms and conditions.

- HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both St. Johns County and the State of Florida require all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6.5% and the county requires 5%.

- LONG-TERM STAYS: (Snowbird, long-term rental). Contact Wren Beach Rentals by Portoro to discuss if a long-term stay discount applies to this listing. Stays over six months are waived from paying the State and Local Hotel Tax. However, there are additional fees we need to collect for damage coverage and housekeeping. In compliance with our policies for long-term stays, we need to collect an additional cleaning fee for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed.

- This is a No Smoking property. Penalty fees for violations will apply and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host.

- This home is pet-friendly. Please note, only dogs allowed and 50lb weight limit, up to 2 dogs per stay with the following guidelines. (This does not apply to service animals):

- $225 for the 1st pet, $125 for additional pet per stay. These fees are non-refundable.

- All breeds accepted

- Pets must be responsive to owner commands, stay off furniture, and not bark excessively.

- Pet owners must pick up and dispose of pet excrement in the provided trash receptacles.

- Pets are not permitted anywhere on the premises unless prior approval is obtained.

- For the safety of guests and the home, there are noise monitoring devices. These devices only measure the decibel level and do NOT record any audio.

Place was very clean, beds comfortable and kitchen well equipped. We really liked that it was a single story given our age and having our two year old grandson with us. Great beach view and access. Plenty of parking. Only negative is it’s an older home and not well insulated from road noise along A1A. It was noisy in the living room and bedrooms.

We really enjoyed staying here. The house was very clean. The view is amazing!! The management company was quick to respond to any questions we had. It is right off A1A and the cars were loud at night for light sleepers, but this was easily fixable with boxed fans for white noise.

50th anniversary

This house was perfect for our multigenerational family and was spotless when we arrived. Unfortunately, there were electrical issues and, after consulting with the management company, a plan was put in place to satisfy our needs. An electrician was there the next day! You will enjoy this beautiful home!

Family Vacation

Portoro was very responsive when we called upon arrival finding a few things that needed attention. House was very comfortable and well appointed however we found some things that need to be attended to, which if they had been done prior to arrival we would have given a 5 star rating. Door out to deck does not fit properly and has foam around to seal. Foam at top of door comes off and allows bugs to come in. Pathway to beach is overgrown and needs to be trimmed back. There is a cracked window pane in the master bedroom and we also had to have the ceiling fan in the master bedroom fixed upon arrival as it was so off balance it was pulling away from the ceiling and quite noisy. This was attended to within 30-45 minutes of us reporting the issue and the repairman was great.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and located in a quiet area. Great ocean view and easy access to a very nice beach. Downtown St.Augustine was a short 20 minute drive from the house. Would definitely consider returning to this property in the future.

Great Beach Getaway

A charming and spacious property, right on the beach. One could hear the ocean from inside the house! It was just as pictured - with stylish, comfortable furniture, and decor and everything needed for a great vacation stay. Relaxing Long Weekend on the Beach

Clean, bright, beautiful location right on the beach. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots, etc. We had to buy our own beach chairs, which was a challenge in October. We left them behind, as we were traveling back to New York. Hopefully they will be available to the next guest.

So close to the beach!

Wasn’t sure when we first arrived tarps were on roof. But house is set up well for families. Being close to beach and having the large deck was perfect to be outside even if you didn’t want to be on the beach. Loved it and hoping to get to use again!!
