Welcome to our beautiful home in the heart of Ponta Delgada, where classic charm meets modern comfort. Our house is full of character, showcasing many of its original features that we have lovingly preserved. Located in the heart of the city centre, Canto Do AtlĂąntico is the ideal base to explore SĂŁo Miguel.

Close to the island's best restaurants, cafes and natural wonders, our home sleeps up to eight guests across four bedrooms. Beyond the bedrooms, you'll find 3 bathrooms, a spacious living area, dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor patio with a “churrasqueira” and a large basement. Alongside plenty of free street parking, our house also has a private garage - a rarity in the city.

A. Ground Floor:

â–ȘLiving Room: A welcoming and spacious area with a large smart TV.
â–Ș Double Bedroom: Furnished with a comfortable double bed, suitable for two guests.
â–Ș Dining Room: Equipped with an extendable dining table that seats up to eight, perfect for meals and gatherings.
â–ȘGround Floor Bathroom: A full bathroom equipped with all necessary amenities.
â–ȘKitchen: Fully equipped kitchen, including a microwave, Nespresso, and dishwasher, perfect for all your culinary needs.
â–ȘOutdoor Patio: Directly off the kitchen, the patio features an outdoor dining area and an original “churrasqueira”, perfect for BBQs.
â–Ș Laundry Room: A separate room with a washing machine, located off the patio for easy access.
â–ȘAdditional Full Bathroom: Located off the laundry room, this extra bathroom also includes a shower, providing a convenient spot to rinse off and refresh after a day at the beach or exploring.

B. First Floor

â–Ș Air conditioning unit in the first floor to ensure cool air flows through all the bedrooms and the rest of the house.

â–Ș Master Bedroom & Large Third Bedroom: Both rooms offer plenty of space and comfort and are furnished with queen-sized beds. Each room is equipped with a console table and mirror, providing an ideal spot for getting ready or getting some work done.
â–Ș Fourth Bedroom: Featuring bunk beds and equipped a console table with a mirror, this room offers plenty of versatility and practicality.
â–ȘFull Bathroom: Centrally located among the bedrooms, this bathroom is equipped with all necessary amenities.


Note: The property is located in the city centre and you may therefore hear street noise.

IMPORTANT: In accordance with local government regulations, as of 01 January 2025 the municipality of Ponta Delgada has introduced a "tourist tax" ("A Taxa Turística Municipal de Ponta Delgada"). At check-in a tax of €2 per person, per night, up to a maximum of 3 consecutive nights will need to be paid. This is applicable to all individuals aged 13 and over who are not residents of the Autonomous Region of the Azores. I appreciate your understanding.

Great location in the city center, walking distance from shops and restaurants. The garage made it super easy to access our rental car and feel it was safe at night. Although their mattresses are firm, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms inside the house were spacious. Be aware that one bathroom is out in the courtyard. We had a bit of difficulty connecting with the host upon arrival, as our flight was delayed, we were late, and we weren't waiting in the right spot, but we worked it out in the end. Don't expect super cool A/C, but it was adequate with the fans provided. Overall, a great, relaxing stay in the Azores.

Very happy we found this spot. The neighborhoods are very tight yet when you step inside the pretty red doors it felt like a sprawling home. Our family of 8 spent 5 nights at the home. Busy active full days so coming home to a roomy spot gave us all space. The three bathrooms were nice for our sized group to get up and out. Outside patio was a nice spot to gather. Leonardo was very responsive and helpful with some inquiries and questions from booking to arrival. Very kind to meet us at check in to pass the key and help with parking. We drove a bigger passenger van so we couldn’t fit into the garage. A public parking lot was just a block away and always had room. Location was a short walk to morning coffee and not far from restaurants , bars and marina. It was a nice spot for our time in Sao Miguel

We enjoyed this apartment very much - great location; Leonardo was wonderful to deal with; only issues were - we had trouble with the key until we finally got it right and the third bathroom is outside the main area 
 not a problem - but not really convenient

Great Stay in Sao Miguel!

This apartment is spacious, clean, and in a great neighborhood. The garage was a great addition if you rent a car, which is recommended to explore this beautiful island. The host was responsive and communicative. Would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful home that has been newly renovated with a cozy enclosed, private outdoor patio. Great location being close to downtown. Easy to walk to restaurants, groceries and the harbour front. Our host was amazing and went above and beyond what was required to ensure are needs were met for a wonderful visit to this island. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Overall it was a great stay in a great location. Some updates could be done in the bathrooms and it could get warm inside on hot days, but we loved staying there.
