Summary:
Can Colabor is a traditional Mallorcan villa that has recently been fully renovated while still retaining its charm and character. It is located just a 2-minute walk from the beautiful sandy beach, nestled in a quiet, leafy residential area of Port de Pollença. A local supermarket, along with cafes, restaurants, and shops, is within a 5-minute walk.
The Space:
The villa is perfect for friends and families of all ages, making it ideal for multi-generational holidays. It features superb communal spaces that open onto the pool area. Most of the villa is laid out on one floor, and the beach and town are easily accessible on foot. You can be out of bed and swimming in Pollenca Bay within five minutes!
The entrance hall of the villa is impressive and leads to four bedrooms. Three of these bedrooms are designed with stairs and a mezzanine floor. Each of these rooms has a king-size bed upstairs and a single chair bed downstairs, if needed, along with an ensuite shower room.
The fourth bedroom, also accessible from the hallway, is a twin room with an ensuite shower room, situated on the ground floor. This makes it ideal for older or younger guests. Travel cots and highchairs are available upon request.
The fifth bedroom is located upstairs and features a king-size bed and a large ensuite shower room. Additionally, there is another shower room downstairs, ensuring that there should never be queues for the bathrooms. All bedding and bath towels are provided by The White Company, ensuring a luxurious experience throughout your stay.
The living area includes comfortable sofas and chairs, while the modern kitchen is well-lit and equipped with an induction hob, microwave, oven, and dishwasher. A washing machine and iron are also available for guestsâ use.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a cosy room with a smart TV, DVD player, and a sofa bed, making it an ideal chill-out space. There is also a large dining table for use during the cooler months.
All these rooms open onto the outdoor pool and patio areas, which feature another large dining table and chairs under a sunshade. Sun loungers are available for relaxation. The pool is perfect for cooling off on hot summer days, with a small shallow area ideal for toddlers and Roman steps leading into the main section. Pool towels are provided for your convenience.
The area surrounding Can Colabor is a haven for both relaxation and activity. A sailing and windsurfing school is located on the beach at the end of our road. Pollenca Bay, sheltered by mountains, is an excellent location to learn or improve your sailing skills. If you enjoy cycling, this area is the winter base for many cycling teams, and the town boasts several excellent bike hire shops. The cycling routes are diverse, ranging from the scenic coastal roads around the bay to the historic Alcudia Old Town and the professional Sa Calobra mountain descent and climb. For walking and nature enthusiasts, the north of Mallorca is stunning. Port de Pollença is situated at the northern end of the UNESCO World Heritage Tramuntana mountain range. The fashionable resort of Cala Sant Vicenç is just a couple of hoursâ leisurely walk through a mountain pass, while the beautiful Cala Boquer, accessible only by foot or boat, is a couple of hoursâ hike along the valley. A nature reserve is less than a 5-minute walk from the villa, and a larger supermarket is a 15-minute stroll through this reserve.
If all you want is to unwind, you can enjoy a good book by the pool or sip coffee at Toloâs restaurant on the seafront or enjoy a cocktail at one of the beach bars.
No holiday in Port de Pollença is complete without a boat trip. Charter trips with a skipper are available, or you can hire a boat yourself, with or without a license. There are beautiful coves to anchor and swim in, where the water is clear and warm, and the marine life is stunning.
While our villa accommodates self-catering, the town offers a wide variety of cafes and restaurants, all within walking distance. Strolling along the seafront, particularly on warm evenings, along the Pine Walk, past vibrant bars and restaurants, is a delightful way to choose somewhere to dine or have a drink.
Please note that there is a refundable security deposit of ÂŁ500.00, subject to no damage.
Eco-tax is not included in the price and it works out at 2,20⏠per person older than 16 for the first 8 days, after the 8th day it is 1,10⏠for the remaining days (children under 16 do not pay)
