Casa Crever is a 200-year-old Mallorcan house set on a 9,438 mÂČ plot and restored with great care to combine traditional atmosphere with modern amenities. With five bedrooms and four bathrooms accommodating up to ten guests, it features a classic stone façade and a location just 3 km from the Roman town of Pollensa. Offering privacy, tranquillity and convenience, the property enjoys panoramic countryside views and retains its Spanish charm with finca-style beamed ceilings and terracotta floors.
The interior begins with a welcoming entrance leading into a cosy lounge and dining room, with an archway opening to the fully equipped kitchen, which blends original features with contemporary conveniences. One bedroom is located on the ground floor alongside a full communal bathroom, while the remaining four air-conditioned bedrooms sit on the first floor. A first-floor balcony provides an ideal spot to watch the sunset and enjoy a peaceful moment.
Outdoors, Casa Crever offers covered dining areas, manicured gardens and an 11 x 5 m swimming pool with Roman steps set close to the house for convenient supervision of children. The enclosed garden creates a tranquil setting for meals, while the fully equipped barbecue area - with grill, bench seating, double sink and bread oven - adds to the fincaâs charm. Casa Cever is located between the towns of Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa, the eastern end of the Serra de Tramuntana. Pollensa is an enchanting Mallorcan town packed with ancient blonde stone architecture, Pollenca doesnât feel like many of the other towns which have surrendered to tourism.
Although tourists have long been attracted here, Pollensa has learned to accept and adapt to tourism without losing its soul. Wander the streets that lead to the church to discover traditional outlets selling a range of foods, arts and crafts as well as cafes, restaurants and bars.
The highlight of the week is the authentic and traditional market that occurs every Sunday morning. Get there early to secure the freshest fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. The Calvari steps provide the best view of the local area but are warned that to get to the top, you have to climb 365 of them. However, the climb is worth it, and the views definitely do not disappoint from the top.
Puerto Pollensa offers wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches and a laid-back, friendly atmosphere, make Puerto Pollensa a favourite destination for many. With hotels on the seafront that still retain an old fashioned air, having been built long before the concrete boom of the 1960s developments.
Today the town attracts mainly British and Madrileño families looking for something more than the hustle and bustle of the south coast resorts. With wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches and a laid-back, friendly atmosphere, makes Puerto Pollensa a favourite destination for many.
