Welcome to Semillon Retreat Pokolbin – a luxury designer retreat set on our 5-acre Shiraz vineyard within La Vigna Estate. This spacious 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom home offers the perfect blend of elegance and comfort, complete with your own private 10-metre pool and sweeping vineyard views.



Each bedroom features a king bed (convertible to singles) and a large ensuite with a freestanding bath and double French doors opening onto the vines and acreage.



Ducted air-conditioning throughout, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped chef’s kitchen make Semillon Retreat ideal for families, couples, or groups exploring the Hunter Valley.

Bedding configuration:

All 5 king beds can be split into singles (minimum 5 days’ notice required for linen arrangements).🧺 Linen



All linen and towels are included in the cleaning fee. Beds are made up with crisp white linen and bath towels are provided.



🍷 Weddings and events



Semillon Retreat sits on the La Vigna Estate Vineyard. While the estate can host weddings, Airbnb bookings are for accommodation only. For event or wedding enquiries, please find La Vigna Estate online directly.



🚗 Parking



Plenty of free parking is available for multiple vehicles. If you plan to do a wine tour before check-in, please ask where cars can be safely left.



🌿 Outdoor living



Enjoy the gas BBQ, large dining setting, and stunning vineyard outlook. The pool flows directly from the outdoor entertaining area — perfect for relaxing afternoons.

Free NBN Wi-Fi is provided (password available on the modem).

🍇 Local vineyards and transport



We’re only minutes from many of the Hunter Valley’s best wineries. Rover Coaches can collect guests directly from the estate for concert or event transfers — please check schedules with Rover Coaches in advance.



🚫 Parties and noise



Please note:



No parties, bucks groups, loud gatherings, or external guests.



Maximum 10 adults permitted.



No bands or speakers – we have other homes on the property and appreciate respect for all guests.



Other Things to Note:

🔥 Fires & Firewood: Indoor wood fireplaces are available only from the end of the NSW Easter School Holidays until the start of the NSW September School Holidays, in accordance with state fire restrictions. We generally provide enough firewood, kindling, and fire-starters for one night of your stay. If you’d like to enjoy additional fires, we recommend bringing your own supplies or purchase online via your boarding pass.



🏊‍♀️ Pools: Pools will be opened for swimming for the start of the NSW September School Holidays and closed and Winterised immediately after the NSW Easter School Holidays have been completed.
