This private apartment is attached to a barn converted event space and includes a bedroom/lounge area along with full bathroom, kitchen area, spacious patio with a grill and seating to enjoy! This apartment on 75 acres includes a private paved airway strip, fishing pond and beautiful views. The best private rural getaway for up to 3 guests!

Host will not be on site during the stay but is just a phone call, text or email away.

This property is in a rural area of Pleasant Hill, Missouri that is accessible by paved roads. Once you arrive you will not need to leave!

Guests will have access to the private apartment that is attached to the barn converted event space and surrounding grounds only. There is a fishing pond to the north of the barn that can be used as well. The grounds are fully accessible by the guests at the main house on the property, so other guests may use the northern fishing pond.


The Pilot’s Pad is a cozy studio apartment on 75 beautiful acres in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. This apartment is attached to a larger barn converted event space that sits right along a private asphalt runway with a stocked fishing pond directly to the north. Along with all of the comforts of the apartment, you can relax and enjoy the large, beautifully landscaped patio with outdoor seating, a grill, and firepit. You will truly enjoy all that nature has to offer in this secluded studio living quarters!

DISCLAIMER: This cozy apartment is located next to an event space, offering a unique stay with rustic charm and serene surroundings. While we do our best to avoid booking both spaces simultaneously, last-minute events may occasionally take place. Approximately 0.7 miles away, a larger home on the property may also be rented at the same time. The only shared space is the driveway, but if guests have reserved the main home, they will also have access to the northern fishing pond near the Pilot’s Pad apartment.

As you drive into this magnificent property you will feel the calm that comes with it, getaway from it all and come relax in ultimate comfort.

There is plenty of parking at this apartment home, including a large paved parking lot directly in front of the apartment.

Once you have made your way you will enter through the side door with a personalized code you will receive the day of arrival.

While the grounds are shared with the main home on the property, we encourage you to explore the nearby grounds surrounding the apartment & take a stroll along the the paved entryway, excluding the driveway that leads to the main home.

Perfect everything!

This place couldn’t have been more perfect! It’s such a cute place and the cleanliness was immaculate. We really enjoyed being secluded and sitting around the campfire just talking and reconnecting. We even got to meet the owner and she was a true delight to chat with. The check in process was seamless and the owner was quick to respond to any questions I had. We definitely will be staying here again when we get a cha ce for another get away!!

This property was very comfortable, very usable with all the items you might need for cooking or shower. Nice area for walking, would be good if you had a fishing pole or tube for the pond.

Its for dog people

Beautiful location and property. When you walk in, the smell is cleaning solution masking animal odors is overwhelming. In the Bedroom worse . If you dont own dogs and have allergies , you may not want to stay here. I lasted 10 minites . Had to leave. The owner was gracious and refunded the stay.
