The suite has its own private entrance and gives you a comfortable home base with room to spread out, unwind, and enjoy the best of Utah County. Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway, a work trip, a family visit, or an extended stay, The Cedar Nest makes it simple to settle in.

Inside, the living room is cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and a Smart TV for movie nights, game days, or quiet evenings in. Fast Wi-Fi makes it easy to work remotely, stream, or keep everyone connected.

The full kitchen is stocked with the essentials for cooking at home, whether you’re making breakfast before heading into the canyon, grilling dinner outside, or enjoying a relaxed meal after a day of exploring. The dining area gives you a comfortable spot to gather, eat, work, or plan tomorrow’s adventure. We also have a high chair available upon request!

The sleeping setup includes one king bedroom, one queen bedroom, and two cots for flexible extra sleeping space. It’s a great fit for couples, small families, business travelers, visiting relatives, or anyone who wants a quiet stay with a little extra breathing room.

One of the best parts of the home is the outdoor setting. Step outside to the furnished patio and enjoy lounge seating, fresh mountain air, a grill, and gorgeous views across the valley. It’s the perfect spot for slow coffee mornings, golden-hour dinners, or unwinding after a hike while the lights begin to sparkle below.

You’ll also have the convenience of a washer and dryer inside the suite, which is especially helpful for longer stays, families, and guests coming back from hikes, ski days, or outdoor adventures.

Located in peaceful Cedar Hills, you’ll be close to parks, hiking trails, American Fork Canyon, golf, shopping, restaurants, Pleasant Grove, Alpine, American Fork, and other Utah County favorites. It’s quiet enough to feel tucked away, but still convenient to everything you need.

A quick note: The Cedar Nest is a private basement mother-in-law suite with its own separate entrance. The indoor suite is completely private and reserved for guests. The backyard and patio area are shared with the upstairs home, but guests are welcome to enjoy the furnished patio space, grill, and beautiful valley views during their stay.
We do not have a long list of rules, we simply ask that our guests respect our home. No parties, no smoking/vaping inside, no loud music, and respect the space.

Absolutely no smoking in the property! You must be at least 25 feet away from the property to smoke. Any violations will result in a 500$ fee.

Check in begins at 4 pm and check out is at 11 am
