Welcome to Mara, a true luxury condo with over 4111 square feet of living space spread across 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a gourmet kitchen, 2 enormous balconies and the best rooftop in all of Playa del Carmen. From the moment you walk onto the property, you will appreciate the quiet luxury that is offered. The property has a great jungle feel with lush vegetation that is manicured daily. On site security and cleaning staff make sure all of the common areas are in pristine condition. Located within the quiet Playacar subdivision, the property is a short 5-10 minute walk to historic 5th Avenue where you can enjoy world class restaurants, amazing bars and nightlife that rivals that of Las Vegas. If it's the beach you're after, stroll down through the local mayan ruins and you are on the shores of the Caribbean in 5-10 minutes.
Head up to your second floor condo and be prepared to be amazed. The first thing you will notice is the amount of space you will have to enjoy. The word luxury does not do this condo justice as you will see throughout your trip. The large gourmet kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare the most extravagant meals.
The open concept feel of the main living space gives off tons of natural light and lots of transition space between each space. Just off the kitchen is the dining table, made from solid wood and with seating for 12, this is where everyone will meet after a long day in the sun to eat, drink and laugh about the memories made that day. The living area is just beyond the dining area and boasts comfortable seating, a huge flatscreen TV with Cable and a large selection of international channels. This is also where you'll access the first of two large private terraces. Another wood table for 12, a high quality barbecue and lounging chairs will create a great space to enjoy the Caribbean breeze.
The Master Suite is sure to impress. The king bed framed by a beautiful custom headboard and high end mattress will please even the pickiest sleeper. The large room also has a flat screen TV, access to the private terrace and a small seating area which is the perfect spot for a book and an early morning coffee. Head into the master bathroom where you'll find double sinks, walk-in shower and a large walk-in closet. This oasis has been carefully crafted for your comfort, you will certainly have a hard time getting out of bed every day!
Your guests will not be forgotten either. There are 3 other rooms that are equally as inviting and elegant. The 2nd master suite is equally impressive with it's queen bed and large bathroom with walk-in shower, large walk-in closet and high end furnishings throughout. But the real highlight of this space is the second private terrace that is accessed from this room. This private terrace overlooks the neighboring bird sanctuary which will amaze you. You will be serenaded by the sounds of tropical birds moving about the sanctuary throughout the day. As you can see in some of the photos, the nearby trees are a favorite perch for many birds and will provide countless hours of entertainment and enjoyment. A true gem within an already impressive property.
The other two bedrooms have two double beds with high end headboards and decorations that accent each space. Both rooms have their own private ensuite bathroom and ample closet space. These bedrooms are perfect space for families, children and those wanting some extra space.
As an added bonus, this unit also has a second living room. With lots of couch space and another huge flat screen TV, this is a great place for the kids that is away from the main living space. The kids can have their own space with the adults enjoy themselves!!
Head up to the shared rooftop where you will likely spend most of your time during your vacation. The rooftop has a breathtaking view of the crystal clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean waters that are only a few hundred meters away. The large infinity pool and multiple seating areas are a perfect place to enjoy quiet days and lazy afternoons soaking in the sunshine.
Please keep in mind that this is a residential area. Please be respectful of others, no loud parties or excessive noise.
As you can see in the pictures, the balcony fence is made of glass. If you bring kids, they should always be supervised on this area.
Playacar is a gated community within Playa del Carmen. It is extremely safe with 24 hour security that patrols the neighborhood. the house is a very short walk to a corner store, a few restaurants and shops. The busy part of Playa del Carmen (5th Avenue) is a 5-10 minute walk away.
Everything is within walking distance but if you don't like to walk, there are numerous taxis available just outside your building. Or, if you prefer, we can organize a taxi or private transportation for you.
â Please note that this is a residential building and there are strict rules on noise levels and quiet times. We want you to have a great time while visiting Playa del Carmen but not at the expense of other around you. From 9am to 10pm, moderate noise is permitted, meaning music, tv, talking at a moderate level (less than 60 db). From 10pm to 9am, noise to be kept to a talking level.
â ** Electricity costs are extremely high in Mexico. It is already included in the payment of your stay, however, we always recommend responsible use of electricity, especially AC.**
â Please notice we only provide toilet paper, paper towels and dish soap at arrival, after that you must buy as you need. We provide 1 bath towel and 1 beach towel per person on the reservation and 1 kitchen cloth.
âThe cleaning fee you pay, only includes the cleaning and disinfection of the property before and after your reservation. Additional cleaning/change of linen and towels has an extra fee.
