The hotel did not appear ready to be open to the public. Upon arrival on our first day, there was a strong acidic, chemical-like odor throughout the hallway. This smell created an unpleasant environment and raised concerns regarding air quality and guest safety.
We also experienced repeated and ongoing problems with our room keys. Both keys were frequently deactivated, requiring us to visit the reception desk multiple times to have them reactivated. This was extremely inconvenient and disruptive, especially during urgent situations when my husband needed immediate access to the room.
In addition, the hotel was falsely advertised as having a jacuzzi/hot tub. While the area clearly had visible jets, the jacuzzi was not functioning at all. When we asked staff about this, we were told that there was no hot tub available, which directly contradicted the advertised amenities and was very misleading.
Other issues further reflected the hotelâs lack of readiness: construction workers were still on-site during our stay, there were no trash bins in our room until we requested one, and in one of the two rooms I booked, a ceiling LED light fell down. Although this was reported to the front desk, it was never repaired during our four-night stay.
I would like to acknowledge that the staff were generally friendly and polite, especially a young man working as one of the baristas, whose kindness stood out despite these circumstances.
