A 4 minute car ride on a ferry to paradise! This canal waterfront home is an easy walk to the most beautiful beach with outstanding sunsets and loads of privacy. This home has 2 bedrooms both outfitted with king size beds and on-suite bathrooms. Kitchen is fully stocked with all new appliances. Enjoy your morning coffee on the outside lanai furnished with a comfortable couch and large oversized chairs or stretch out on the chaise lounge. Canal is deep so bring your boat and enjoy the bridgeless access to the gulf, any of the numerous waterfront restaurants, or great fishing that the area is known for. Don't feel like cooking? Palm Island has a restaurant (Rum Bay Restaurant) located on the island, as well as an ice cream shop (Coconuts) stocked with essentials.

The house is a split floor plan. There is a newly renovated bedroom with a bathroom on the upper level with a small balcony overlooking the front of the home. The next level down is an open living/dining/kitchen area that opens onto the lanai. During the cooler months the large sliding door opens up the living space to the outdoor lanai area. The next level down is the second bedroom with a full bath, and washer and dryer. The ground level has door access that leads to the main living area via indoor stairs. All the furnishing were selected for comfort and style and were purchased in the last couple of years.

Added amenities for your comfort include a Keurig and coffee press, 2 kayaks with paddles, 2 folding beach chairs, and a beach canopy sun shade.

We love this island, each time you back your car off the ferry it's as if you've left the country. The island is great for relaxation, you can walk the 7 miles of beach searching for seashells or ride around in a golf cart and tour the uniqueness of this barrier island. A 4 passenger golf cart can be rented with the home for an additional $300 a week.

For car ferry details please visit the Palm Island Transit website. Roundtrip passenger vehicle is $55 per car, or ferry passes can be purchased at a discount; 10 roundtrip coupon book is $400, or a 7 day pass (5 roundtrips) for $225. Cost is less for bike and walk-on passengers.
