After a few years of remodeling and restoration, this home is back and we are very excited to offer it as a vacation rental! This is a very spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home located on 2 lots with a private pool, dock in very sheltered waters and a private garage.
This home is unique as its built on ground level and has no stairs!
When you enter, you are in a spacious open concept living room / kitchen area with high ceilings and exposed beams. The living room has sectional seating, fireplace and SMART TV.
The kitchen has been totally redone with new counter tops, cabinets and appliances. . There is room for 4 to sit at the kitchen bar OR, room for 4 to sit at the breakfast table. Formal dining space is just beyond the living room with seating for 6, overlooking the deck and water.
Two of the bedrooms have KING beds and ensuite bathrooms. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds.
Spacious outside deck overlooks the dock and the very private waterway behind the home. The dock is deep water and can accommodate most boats.
Located beside the home is a very large heated pool and TIKI hut.
There is a laundry room located in the garage for your use. Did we mention this home is PET FRIENDLY?
The pool can be heated for an additional charge. This is the perfect get-a-way for the family and extended family to enjoy our beautiful island. Have you vacationed on the island before? Palm Island a.k.a. Don Pedro Island, is a barrier island 7 miles long between Sarasota and Ft. Myers on the Gulf coast with sugar-sand beaches, beautiful harbors and lagoons, great fishing and shelling only accessible by a short 10 minute car ferry or private boat. Our beaches are some of the most pristine and quiet in all of coastal Florida. There are no high rises blocking your Gulf views, unpaved sandy roads, and a relaxed "Old Florida" atmosphere. There is one restaurant called the Rum Bay that serves lunch and dinner. The car ferry runs continually from 6:30 am until 10:00 pm from Sunday through Thursday and until 11:00 pm Friday and 12:00 midnight Saturday. You drive your car onto the ferry and then directly to your vacation rental home. It's a very special place to vacation. There are golf cart rentals available on the island. All of our properties on Palm Island require a ferry ride to get there. One round trip on the ferry for car and passengers costs $55. The alternative is to purchase a book of 10 round trips for $400, or $40 per round trip. For more information on the ferry, google Palm Island Transit. There IS a charge to heat the pool during the winter season of $100 weekly.Please let us know you'd like it heated when you book. !f you bring your dog, there is a $125 pet fee to cover the cost of additional cleaning for the next guests.
