Looking forward to hosting you in our charming home located in a hidden gem of a neighborhood on Pittsburgh's North Side.

This house is perfectly located... literally 5-10 minutes from the Stadiums, Ball Park, Arena, Convention Center, Theatres, Museums and right up the hill from the Strip District (6 mins to the original Primanti Brothers!). The house sits on a corner lot adjacent to a green space for you to also enjoy. It has both on and off street parking and both are completely free. We know you will enjoy this newly renovated home with all the comforts you need to have an amazing stay.

The house was built in 1927 and has gone through extensive renovations that revealed large portions of the homes original character while providing the opportunity to update the amenities to more modern times.

Lots of cool discoveries in the renovation that include exposing hidden chimney's that were used for wood burning stove and heat sources. The discovery and refinishing of the original hardwood floors throughout the home. There was just something about the craftmanship from those times that left us completely in love with this home along with such rich history of the neighborhood and the surrounding areas.

We hope to host you in our home and would love for you to cherish it and treat it as your own!

The house was exactly as the Hosts April & John posted on the Vrbo Website. It was cozy and had lots of character. We simply cannot say enough good things about this property and how absolutely lovely John and April were throughout our stay! Their communication is top notch and they wanted to make sure we were having a great experience from beginning to end. We stayed here for my niece's family weekend at Pitt. The distance was not bad at all (about 15-20 min to campus with some light traffic). The house was perfect for us (my family of 5 including my husband and 3 young children) and my sister and her other daughter. Everything was so thoughtful (loved the coffee station!) and CLEAN and well put together. The kids enjoyed the provided board games and loved venturing down to the basement for foosball! Thank you John and April.

Lovely house adjacent to a little park in an off-the-beaten-path quiet neighborhood. The house has lots of wood detail and character and is gorgeously furnished. The hosts were very attentive.

We had a wonderful stay! There was plenty of room for my spouse, adult children and young child. Perfect location for all downtown Activities including Steelers/Chiefs game. The house was beautiful and the hosts were quick to respond to any questions.Highly recommended!

Enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday in the home with our adult children. We gave the kitchen a workout, which was well-equipped to prepare and serve a family meal. Enjoyed the tastefully decorated home, ample supply of towels, and check-in was seamless. Never had an issue with finding adequate parking for 3 vehicles.

Family get away

Nice older home, freshly updated with everything you need for a family stay. Quiet neighborhood and the off street parking was nice. Like most places in Pittsburgh, driving thru the neighborhood to get to the property is a unique experience that makes you happy to have GPS.

Great family getaway!

The house was a perfect fit for two families with young children! Everything was clean and appeared newly renovated as shown in the pictures. It was stocked with just about everything we could have needed, which was much appreciated since we all traveled from out of state with limited car space. The location was great, close enough to reach all the activities/spots that we wanted to easily while feeling tucked away in the neighborhood. The front porch was a lovely spot for the adults to decompress after busy days, and the kids highly enjoyed the basement foosball, the backyard space, and the board/card games available to play. The hosts were proactive in making sure everything went well and easy to reach. We would certainly stay again!

Lovely property

Quiet, clean, well maintained. House on the corner has lots of natural light. Responsive owner. Lots of character to the house, lots of character and a good renovation. I have given the owner some feedback as to how it could be tweaked so the next renters could enjoy it more fully. The group enjoyed their stay. Would recommend this property.
