This home is a true gem! A rare combo - room for 15 people, but very close to downtown and Northside attractions + off-street parking

Fully updated, it boasts all the comforts and amenities for a luxurious stay, including a hot tub, a jetted bath tub, a grand dining room and huge windows bringing in tons of natural lighting.

Walk/bike to popular destinations like the Northshore River Walk.

IDEAL FOR:
-large groups or families visiting for the Pirates & Steelers, the casino, or the museums

~LAYOUT~
You can enter this 3000 sq ft home from the front door on Liverpool St, or through the parking area and back yard off Decatur St. Through the back entrance, you`ll come into the remodeled kitchen first, passing through a hallway to the grand dining and living area (which makes up a majority of the first floor).

In the front entrance, there is a main staircase all the way up to the third floor, offering the widest and easiest route to the bedrooms. There is also a rear staircase traveling from the kitchen pantry area, to the second floor landing, and continuing on the third floor rear bedroom. The rear stairs are carpeted for quieter passage at night.

Both the second and third floor have master bedroom suites with king beds, and adjoining bathrooms. The second floor master has a seating area by the front window. The third floor master includes expanding sleeping (twin trundle bed), and pack and play.

On the second floor, there is a community full bathroom with a tub, and two addition bedrooms each with queen beds.

The third floor rear bedroom includes a private workspace and a queen bed. There is also a middle bedroom, set up for youngsters, with bunk beds, toys and books, and a space theme.

The back deck sits right outside the kitchen door, where you`ll find a table that seats 4, a BBQ grill, and a hot tub. The back yard is small, but entirely fenced in

We`re available to help make your stay the best it can be, but the level of communication is entirely up to you. It is always our pleasure to make suggestions on where to go and what to do - from museums to my favorite walkable streets.

~NEIGHBORHOOD~
Manchester is situated on the western edge of Pittsburgh`s North side. The neighborhood is mostly residential, and defined primarily by historic row houses - many have been fully restored inside and out.

The home`s location offers quick and easy access to Ohio River Blvd, and it`s just a few minutes to downtown once you`re there.

The lovely Allegheny West neighborhood is within about 15 minutes walking distance, and there you`ll find numerous bars, restaurants, and cafes.

Also very close-by: The Carnegie Science Center, Acrisure Stadium, the Northshore River Walk, Mexican War Streets (neighborhood), Rivers Casino, National Aviary, and Community College of Allegheny County.

This area is generally walkable. And wide, quiet streets also make it bike-able. Most Northshore destinations can reached within 10 minutes on a bike. Uber and Lyft are easily available in this area too.

The neighborhood is also serviced by the (17) SHADELAND and (18) MANCHESTER bus routes. Both will take you downtown.

If some visitors choose to park on Liverpool St, please pay attention to posted signs about certain parking restrictions!
~OUR RULES~
Thank you for reviewing the following important guidelines prior to checking in.
We appreciate you taking a moment to familiarize yourself with these policies to ensure a smooth experience for all guests.

1. Upon booking, you will receive a rental agreement/check-in form/ID verification that you are required to complete, sign, and return at least 72 hours before your arrival. The address and door code will only be provided if the form is complete.

2. If you are local and / or under the age of 25 please notify us before making your reservation.

3. We may place a small deposit hold on your credit card 2 days before your arrival to cover any accidental property damage that may occur and it will be released after your check out. This is primarily for guests without an established track record of reviews from previous hosts.

4. We would like to inform you that for direct bookings, a 4% credit card fee will be applied to any cancellations and refunds and we will follow our standard cancellation policy.

5. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 9:00 pm until 9:00am; please be respectful of the neighbors.

6. Absolutely no parties or events allowed

7. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number. And guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible.

8. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted inside the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage.
There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed.
9. There can not be any more than the registered number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund.

10. This is a pet-friendly property! We’re glad if you were able to bring your pet along, but please note we have a few additional rules:
‱ Please note that a $25 Pet fee will be applied per pet, per night.
‱ Please disclose pets at the time of booking. All pets must be added to your reservation so the applicable pet fee can be applied.
‱ We are unable to host breeds of dogs deemed aggressive, per our insurance policy.
‱ No more than TWO (2) animals, no larger than 50 pounds.
‱ Pets are not allowed on furniture & please clean up after your pets.
‱ Do not leave your pet home alone unless crated (doggy doo-doo bags are provided).

11. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos.
‱ At departure: Please wash or place any remaining dirty dishes in the dishwasher
‱ Please bag up all trash and place in the outdoor containers (see house guidebook for instructions)
‱ Please follow all posted/guidebook rules for properties with special amenities like fire pits and hot tubs

12. For your security and protection the property is equipped with an exterior camera.

13. Guests who fail to arrive for their reservation, for any reason, will be considered no-shows. No-shows are non-refundable, and no credits, reschedules, or exceptions will be provided under any circumstances.

14. Please remember to take all of your belongings with you upon checkout. If you do leave something important behind, we will do our best to send your items back to you within a week.

15. If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs.

16. If you were a previous/current guest and did not respect our house rules and our property, we have the right to decline your next reservation.

17. There is an extra guest fee of $25 per person per night, for every person after the 6th guest.

We require precise guest counts. To respect our cleaning staff and the next guests, you need to accurately report how many people are in your group.

This allows us to properly plan for cleaning and re-supplying after your stay. When needed, we will use exterior camera footage and Minut crowd sensors to determine how many people were in the house.

FOR MEDIUM-TERM (30+ DAYS) STAYS ONLY:

18. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in).

19. As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we may require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 30 days or longer. The midterm cleaning may take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning may be mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property.

Can’t wait to stay here again!

Our group was in town for the Pittsburgh marathon and the spot was exactly what we needed for comfort, quiet and relaxation. You’re far enough from downtown to get away but close enough to easily trek into the heart of Pittsburgh. Our golden retriever loved it and really enjoyed the short walk down to the river and stadiums. Our host was easy to get in touch with as we were uncertain if power would be restored after bad storms came through the area in the days before our reservation. An overall wonderful experience. Andrew was on top of our reservation and made everything from check in to check out seamless. We look forward to planning another stay!

A wonderful place to stay

This rental was amazing. The house is over 100 years old, but has been recently renovated and was a great place for 10 of us to stay and enjoy being together for new years. The host, Andrew, was really attentive and easy to communicate with. I’d easily recommend it to others as a great place to stay to explore Pittsburgh from.

Great for a big group!

We were celebrating a graduation and had a large group of family. The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms accommodated all of us very well. The kitchen was well equipped and we put it through its paces with big meals, small meals and almost constant snacks. The bathrooms are well appointed and well supplied. The towels are fluffy and plentiful. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. We had a few questions and Andrew got back to us quickly. Overall, a wonderful stay at a lovely home.

This home is in an up and coming neighborhood that is revitalizing. The house had a ton of character and had great renovations. It was an experience for the family to stay in a period home we will not forget. There were a few glitches with appliance but the owners were so responsive! Great memories were made!!!! Would stay again.

This home is absolutely gorgeous! Loved the family room which gave us enough space to be together. We had family coming from Maryland and southern Ohio, so Pittsburgh was our halfway point. The stay was wonderful.

The house was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Large bedrooms and large living room, dining room and kitchen. Perfect house for our family to stay for 4 nights and for cooking and eating thanksgiving dinner. House was well equipped and just overall really comfortable to stay in. Highly recommend.
