If you’re looking for a peaceful, unplugged weekend away, take a look at this brand-new, cozy cottage located in the quaint community of Gorham’s Bluff. Offering rustic luxury at its best, this custom-built cottage is perfect for a romantic escape.

This charming two-bedroom, two-bath home features both an upstairs and downstairs master suite. It comfortably accommodates up to four guests. Each bedroom includes a queen-size bed and an en-suite bath with a custom-tiled shower. All linens, towels, and toiletries are provided, and a washer and dryer room—complete with detergent—is available for your convenience.

The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for a short stay or a week-long retreat. A gas grill on the rear porch is perfect for evenings when you prefer to dine in. The cozy living area includes a 50” HD television and complimentary Wi-Fi, so you can enjoy your favorite shows or browse the web at your leisure. Savor a morning coffee on the wraparound porch or upstairs balcony while taking in the breathtaking views of the Tennessee River Valley.

Located on the secluded side of Gorham’s Bluff, the cottage is within easy walking distance of the well-maintained community pool, which is open to all guests. Scenic hiking trails also wind throughout the area.

Though the cottage offers plenty of privacy, there are many nearby attractions to explore. Visit Scottsboro for a shopping trip to the Unclaimed Baggage Center or head to Henagar for a nostalgic evening at the drive-in theater. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy hiking the Walls of Jericho trail or exploring local parks such as Cathedral Caverns State Park, Little River Canyon National Preserve, or Stephens Gap Cave. Both Huntsville, AL, and Chattanooga, TN, are less than an hour’s drive away.

The owner does not live on the property, and communication will be via phone or email. However, the property manager is always on standby. For your privacy, there are no cameras anywhere on the premises.

Quick getaway retreat for my husband and I. This is exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a place with no distractions other than amazing views and small towns with character and personality nearby. Owner was quick to respond and very attentive to all our questions and concerns. We got in right before a weather advisory. The house stayed nice and cozy during the low 16’ weather and did a great job of insulating us from the 40 mph winds. The views from the back porch and upstairs balcony are majestic. The house is beautifully decorated and the layout is open and ideal for quality time. The house is new and has all modern features. The robes were a very nice touch and I loved that the knives and appliances were not less expensive brands. There was a vitamix blender in the cabinet. There are tvs in all the rooms. We didn’t watch anything, but they are there. The closets are spacious and held all our luggage and bags. The fridge is a full size which is great since it’s about 15-30 minutes to the next few small towns. Come with groceries or stop at a larger town before checking in. My husband wants to come back. That’s big since we usually prefer to try a new location for our weekends away.

This home deserves every one of its five stars. Though it's just 900 square feet, it’s incredibly well-designed and thoughtfully appointed. Every detail was so well done—it felt like a luxurious retreat.From the USB and USBC charging blocks on each side of the bed to the whole-house music system that lets you play tunes in one room or throughout the home, everything was set up for comfort and convenience. The provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and plush bathrobes added a special touch that made us feel pampered.As an older couple, we especially appreciated the high-quality furniture in the living room. The sofa and chair were so comfortable—it felt like sinking into a cloud after a long day. The bed was equally wonderful, with soft feather pillows that made for restful nights.One of my favorite features was the full-length bench inside the bedroom closets. It was perfect for storing suitcases and shoes neatly out of the way. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials for simple cooking, and everything—from the pots and pans to the dishes and silverware—was top-notch quality.The U-shaped wraparound porch was simply stunning, and the view?
