Welcome to Chestnut Cottage, a private Sutton Knob custom home, with features your entire group will love! Begin your vacation the moment you start to drive up the mountain, and enjoy beautiful far reaching peak-a-boo vistas around every turn. Located only 10 minutes from the entrance to Pisgah National Forest, this high-end home has a driveway with ample parking space. The main entrance of the home is accessible by 3 stairs and opens into the great room with shiplap walls, big windows for tons of natural light, a wood-burning fireplace, plenty of comfortable seating, a TV, and unique artistic touches. The dining area is off the living room and has a table with spaces for 8. The thoughtfully equipped kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances, a standard coffee pot, a Keurig, and all the dishes, pots, and pans guests will need to create meals for their group. Guests can even enjoy a game of wall Scrabble while dinner is being prepared!

The primary bedroom in Chestnut Cottage is located off the kitchen and is complete with a King-sized bed and a second TV. The ensuite primary bathroom is home to dual sinks, a luxurious soaking tub, and a shower. Bedroom 2 boasts a Queen-sized bed. Bedroom 3 is home to a Queen-sized bed. The two guest bedrooms share a second full bathroom with dual sinks and a shower.

Chestnut Cottage guests can soak up the outdoors, without even leaving! Enjoy morning coffee or tea from the cozy screened-in porch or cookout with the gas grill and enjoy the evening breeze. As guests of the Sutton Knob community, Chestnut Cottage guests enjoy shared access to the green space within the community, which showcases the natural beauty Transylvania County offers. Scenic hiking trails within the development allow guests the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the outdoor experience and enjoy the views of the nearby Pisgah National Forest. The Meadows boasts two ponds, streams, and small waterfalls. The community pavilion and firepit are also available to guests of the Chestnut Cottage!

As your host during your stay, White Squirrel Realty is easy to reach by text or phone. Each home we manage is stocked with fresh, professionally laundered linens and supplies to make your stay comfortable. Confirmed guests will receive a text message to the cell phone on the reservation, with a link to the essential information needed to enjoy your stay, like the door code and directions. The digital guidebook has information on the property and also on the area, including restaurants, grocery stores, and popular destinations. Guests can go straight to the property they have reserved at check-in time.

Love staying in the Brevard area because it’s close to Blue Ridge Parkway, Pisga Forest and DuPont for lots of hiking, option. Cool restaurants in nearby towns and downtown Asheville-plus Biltmore Estate. . White Squirrel Realty has ALWAYS been great to work with! Cabins are cleaned and well maintained. Any issues that come up, are handled quickly

Great house in a very convenient location. Close enough to Asheville and surrounding areas for easy restaurants and shopping. Love the hiking that is nearby in Pisgah Forest, DuPont Forest and of course the Blue Ridge Parkway! Appreciate the fact that this is a pet friendly cabin and quiet community. Love the openness of the cottage-the pups (and us) enjoyed the screened in side porch! The kitchen is well stocked and really nice having a full size washer & dryer. Issac has been wonderful

We loved the house. The house was immaculately clean. The open floor plan made it easy for us to get around and just relax and enjoy ourselves. The porch and windows were great for viewing the outdoors and having conversations. Communication was great from beginning of rental until the end. We were provided all the information that was needed during stay.

Beautiful home in a wonderful location.

The home is gorgeous. We had to move our daughters wedding because of the devastation in Asheville caused by Hurricane Helene. We had 2 weeks to find new lodging, venue etc. White Squirrel reality (Katie and Isaac) were so helpful. The house was so comfortable and had everything you needed. All 3 of the homes that the family rented were awesome. Pisgah Forest is so beautiful. Brevard has alot of things to do. We had so much fun. I highly recommend staying here. Thank you to White Squirrel Realty from the Tausinger/Walsh families.
