The house was enjoyable. The kids really enjoyed the pool table. The bedrooms and the sizes were nice. The beds were a little too soft with the foam tops and were not very comfortable. There were a few amenities that were lacking. For instance, the shampoo and conditioner and body wash containers in the showers were not filled and looked unclean. The filter on the fridge needed to be clean. There were empty cabinets in the kitchen that were full of bugs and just very unclean. A few basic kitchen items that could be added, like a cheese grater and mixing bowls. We had to purchase our own dish soap and cleaner to wash down countertops. While the house was enjoyable these small things are what made the difference in the rating given. We did not use the pool due to it not being heated so no review of that. Looked like a nice yard and area though.

Family stay for spring training

This home was perfect for our family weekend stay. The decor is bright and cheery and all the beds were extremely comfortable. We loved the openess between the kitchen, dining area and living area. We had a quick visit so we did not have time to enjoy the backyard or pool but it looked very nice and inviting. The host was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Family get together

Location was very convenient. Overall the theme was cute and thought it would be good for family get together. The house needs some help. Landscaping in front is tired and tree was blocking the entrance. Lots of dust on window sills, vents and ceiling fans. The kitchen was ok, pots and pans are old and need replacing. Fridge had lots of condiments from other guests
 pretty gross and would never use them. Pantry also had old food that no one should or would use. Grilled one night, could use a light outside near grill. Overall house was ok, but definitely in need of updates and a deep cleaning.

Nice but could be nicer

The house is well furnished in terms of actual furniture. Large comfy sofas in several areas allowed breathing room and overall comfort. Host was quick to respond to any questions prior to check in. We did not pursue any contact once we were in the house. My first issue is that the kitchen is not well stocked. Yes, there were plenty of everyday dishes, glasses, and silverware, but there were some basic items missing, like mixing bowls or a salad bowl even. We used a large pot to mix a Caesar salad. Fortunately we were having Thanksgiving dinner at someone else's house. Not sure how we would have prepared and served it in this house. Secondly, the house was only superficially clean. It was clear that someone had cleaned bathrooms, wiped down cabinets, and vacuumed exposed surfaces. But the dust on upper ledges, under beds, on ceiling fans, and around vents was pretty disgusting. The house could also use some paint touch ups, etc. to make it top notch. Our final issue is that the house rules prohibited us from opening windows. I understand why this might be in effect during the extreme heat of the Phoenix area summer, but we stayed in the last week of November and would have liked to open some windows. The house worked fine for us because there were enough bedrooms for our family, the location was fantastic, and we spent the majority of our time at my brother's home. Had we been in the house full time for Thanksgiving, I would have been far less satisfied.

Pool and Pool Awesome

We had a great time at this house. Having plenty of spaces for kids and parents to relax was key. We loved playing pool and swimming as much as we could. The large TV's were fantastic as well. The property could use a little maintenance, repair and cleaning but for the most part it was great.

Peoria Family Reunion.

Accommodations worked well for large family gathering with the parties coming from various locations. Host was very pleasant and understanding of our needs. House and pool were great. Very thankful we found it as it suited our needs to a tee.

Great location

We loved the neighborhood: close to main roads to get around the city and the area. Not to mention the bike/walking path at the end of the road. The host was very prompt in responding with questions. The property was not as clean as I would’ve liked. No heater in pool, so we could not use.

The little things

Mostly, the place was as advertised. A few little things like the main trash can being full, no soap for the dishwasher or trash bags for the cans. The owner responded quickly to requests and he brought the missing stuff.

Grime

Great house, perfect location but the bedrooms were grimy. Baseboards neglected, dust under the bed and dust ( most alarmingly) on the ceiling fans. We all kinda sneezed our way through the week. Kitchen was well cleaned but the dishwasher was unanchored and tilted during loading. Bathroom was fine. The pool was great. We didn’t use it because November is too chilly for a swim, but we enjoyed dipping our toes in from the side. Lots of pool toys scattered around collecting outdoor dust and we would not have been tempted to use them had we used the pool. Owner responded to texts and phone calls. Mostly a good experience.
