Casa Del Mar is located in Kierland North Scottsdale. The single family one level home offers 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and the Tiki Shower in the backyard! All the amenities and right near all the action of Phoenix Open, Westworld, Old Town Scottsdale, Spring Training, and right around the corner form the Kierland / Scottsdale Quarter Shopping metropolis; but in a quiet neighborhood. WIFI, flat screens and sunshine everywhere! The Master Suite has King Bed with TV, Guest Suite has King Bed with TV, Guest room with two bunk beds (full on bottoms, twin on top bunks), and game-room in separate detached guest casita / pool house room with Queen pull out couch. Additional couches and a cot can accommodate a Max 14-15 people but 12 more comfortable comfortably.

Enjoy the backyard with optional Heated Pool* and NEW WATER SLIDE, BBQ grill, outdoor patio TV, and pool house game room (also with Big WIFI enabled TV) - ping pong table, bumper pool table / poker table in office room with variety of other billiard and board games. Both living room and family rooms have cable TVs with surround sound as well. Come see why so many happy guests give "Casa Del Mar" 5 stars!

***Optional pool heat- Heated to 85 degrees - Daily rate of $75 per day for heated pool for stays of 5 days or more, $100/day for stays 4 days or less. This is simply to offset the gas bill on a large/deep diving pool. Rate of $1250 for a full month.

***1 dog allowed with approval only. A "Pet Fee" will be added to your booking when reserving online. Pet Fees are non-refundable and are not to cover any damages, extra cleaning or picking up your dogs poop.

***$400/month Electric Cap (Full month reservations only). Guests agree to this policy upon booking and are liable for the overages. $400/mth should cover it unless it is abused.

The propery manager was accommodating to our needs and very kind. The home has lots of kid friendly amenites including toys and books. The pool was great. The TVs and remotes were not working. Although neat and tidy, the home has a lived-in feel, and can use a deeper cleaning. However, the beds were clean and very comfortable. Great location. Overall enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Had some issues but they were addressed very quickly by Wes the property manager. The home needs to be updated and given some attention. Despite the issues we will be returning next year with the hope that the property will see some improvements.

Not as advertised

Pictures were taken a long time ago, this property is pretty run down and damaged. The 4th bedroom is a joke, its a room off the garage with no access into the rest of the house and no bathroom. The bed is a sofa bed. Bath tub was clogged up. Dusty and smelly. Master TV doesn't work. Fire Alarm sensors were all dead and beeping. No one had rented for a while apparently, the chalk boards inside had other peoples names and Christmas stuff all over it. Dyer was broken, sliding glass door was not very trust worthy. Overall was not happy, especially since we booked it for 11 days so living with the problems that long suuucked.

9 night stay.

There was 12 teenagers and 2 adults staying in this house for 9 nights. The space was a bit tight for all of us but it was a success overall. We used air mattresses for 2 of the kids so that beds weren't as cramped. The outdoor space was lovely and ready to use when we got there. Overall, this is a great property to rent!

The house was fine a couple of Munro details here and there, like the garbage was full when we got there and things were out of place. Overall good stay for a big group, but the rental property prefers to communicate over phone calls which was different.

THE HAPPY HOUSE MADE US REALLY HAPPY!

With this season of COVID and all the craziness happening in the world surrounding the pandemic, we also had our son's wedding to attend. In looking for a place to stay, we needed a house that would be nearby to the Gainey Ranch golf course where he was getting married. We also knew that we needed a place large enough to host my brother coming from Texas and my mom coming from Pennsylvania. Well, this house was it! Brian, the owner, was amazing to deal with. We had a large enough area to spread out, socialize and get ready for a wedding. The kitchen was large enough to have a few other friends over and the dining room served more than once as a space for us to just relax, drink some wine and eat a dinner TOGETHER. I don't recall a time this year that we had a space to enjoy each other's company as much as we did in this home during our stay here. The game room was also amazing--one night we played Texas hold 'em for over 3 hours. We used the barbecue grill, the swimming pool, watched a little TV to relax. The shower in the master bedroom is also amazing--relaxing and big enough to never feel squished in. The back porch is so inviting and was truly a gathering space for our family to sit, have dinner, breakfast, coffee or wine and to just enjoy each other. We were lucky to find a location so close to the wedding venue, that was clean, refreshing, inviting and certainly helped to create fantastic memories that we will cherish forever. This house is HIGHLY recommended. It is big enough for 2 families to share in the fun! Hoping that we could rent this home again in the future. 5 stars! Perfect family holiday getaway...

We spent Thanksgiving in this home with family and it was perfect! The backyard was beautiful and the home was cozy and well stocked. Lots of space for us to spread out and cook for eight people. Location was excellent and close to Kierland and the Quarter for some of the best shopping and restaurants in Scottsdale. Brian was a great host!

Spacious Home but needs some TLC

This home has a lovely backyard pool and deck area, beautiful outside landscaping, and the internal rooms and casita are spacious. It has good working washer and dryer and lots of towels and items such as high chair etc., if you were travelling with small children. It is, however, in need of some general maintenance, updating & TLC. We did not have enough utensils/cookware/dishes to eat at the same time so purchased paper plates, lights burnt out, pots and pans that are there are very worn and few in numbers, patio furniture tired, drawer handles & batteries missing, garburator not working and continually clogged sink. The grill needs to be seriously cleaned or replaced. We did try to connect with the owner about these issues but felt uncomfortable with the response/reaction so made the most of the week. We love Arizona so did not let these disappointments affect our stay. If anything, it taught us to be even more diligent in our research.

Wonderful home, had everything we needed! I’d recommend this home to other groups or even vacationers! Minor set back our last night with the AC going out due to insane rains (which never happens in a AZ!) but we all understood and it didn’t effect our stay! Thanks for a great few days!
