A one of a kind fully renovated row house in the bustling Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia. The best bars, restaurants, and coffee shops are all within walking distance. A spacious 1600 sqft home with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, open concept living area, and a cozy living room lounge with a gas fireplace.
Recently featured in Dwell, our 1890s row home has modern amenities while keeping the charm of original hardwood floors, restored brick and beautiful exposed ceilings.
A loft like open floor plan with large windows throughout our 1600 sqft rowhome gives each room a light and airy feeling. A perfect live/work space with access to all the best coffee shops, bars and restaurants in Fishtown. Working from dining room table, kitchen island or living room gives you many options when working from home. There is also a designated work desk in the upstairs master bedroom. Relax by the gas fireplace in the evenings and watch your favorite shows on the large 65` Fire TV.
After a day exploring the city you will come home to the luxurious king size beds in the two large bedrooms. Enjoy the softest sheets, memory foam mattresses and king size pillows - we take our sleep seriously here. Bedrooms have roller shades and curtains for those who prefer a darker room for sleeping.
The study, also called the reading/nap room, has a full size bed that looks out on our large maple tree in the backyard. Perfect for kids or one adult.
The guest bedroom upstairs has an ensuite full bath with rain shower and the master bedroom has a separate master bathroom with a soaking tub and skylight.
The kitchen comes fully stocked with all cooking accessories, cutlery, dishes. We provide Café Bustelo grounds and filters for our 12 cup coffee machine.
There is central heating and cooling throughout the house controlled by a Nest thermostat on the first floor. There are also ceiling fans in each bedroom for warmer summer days.
Washer and Dryer are also available for guest use on the first floor!
Our paved backyard/courtyard is a cozy spot for a cup tea in the morning or an afternoon beer under the maple tree.
Free street parking on our block (no time limit or street sweeping). We usually get a spot right in front of the house. If our block is full we easily find parking within 1-2 blocks of the house.
We have loved renovating this house and live here part time throughout the year. We hope to share our unique home with you and make your trip to Philadelphia a memorable experience.
Guests have access to the entire house. There is a side yard and alley that is shared with our neighbor for taking out the trash each week.
My husband and I will be available by phone throughout your stay. We are happy to answer any questions via Airbnb messaging or text.
A combination of the area`s best cuisine, shopping boutiques, and art galleries has made Fishtown a must-visit destination. The neighborhood`s dynamic mix of young professionals, artists, and families spend their time at special pop-up art events and open-air breweries. Highlighted by award winning restaurants like Pizzeria Beddia and renowned music venue Johnny Brenda`s, this spot is perfect for those wanting to experience the best Philadelphia has to offer.
Walking - 93 Walking Score - a walking paradise! Bars, restaurants, groceries and coffee shops all within walking distance.
Parking - There is plenty of free parking on the streets surrounding our house. Bus - The city Bus #25 has a stop one block from our house.
Subway - 15 min walk to the Berk Stop on the `El` line that takes you downtown Philadelphia.
Uber/Lyft - available throughout the city
We have the most wonderful neighbors on both sides and across the street. Please be respectful to these families during your stay. Some of these families are 3rd generation on this block and they have been incredibly welcoming to us.
We`d also like to note that because we`ve chosen an exposed ceiling look throughout the house there is less sound insulation between upstairs and downstairs. You may hear the floors creek and voices carry throughout the house.
Please be considerate of our lovely neighbors. Quiet hours between 9pm-9am (no loud music).
Please try to follow our no shoes policy. We recommend bringing cozy socks or slippers during your stay.
