Casa il Poggetto is of high quality and very tastefully renovated, is located on the edge of the medieval village of Vellano, between Lucca and Pistoia.

The house is free on three sides and has a large fenced terraced garden with several terraces. The view of the valley is breathtaking, with several medieval locations including the 10 Castella from the Svizzera Pesciatina.

Casa il Poggetto offers space for 6 guests on 2 floors. In the lower part there is the open living area with fireplace, dining area and kitchen. Here is also the small laundry room with washer and dryer. The double bedroom with two single beds and a guest toilet is on the mezzanine with a direct exit to the outside terrace. On the first floor there are 2 tastefully furnished double bedrooms and a bathroom.

In the garden of Casa il Poggetto there are fruit trees and herbs and consists of various terraces connected by stairs. On the lower terrace is the outside living room with outside sofa, armchairs and table. One terrace higher is the dining table with a large grill.

Further up is another small terrace with sun loungers and the small pool (4x2m) to cool off in the hot summer days. From this last terrace you can see the medieval village of Vellano and have a view of the whole valley.

Casa il Poggetto is the perfect place to take part in the Tuscan life in the tranquility of nature! Vellano is also a good starting point to visit all the Tuscan highlights!

In winter, heating is charged based on consumption (according to actual usage).
