The Sanctuary is in highly sought after South Fremantle.

Freshly presented with new furnishings, lots of light and a private tropical pond garden, The Sanctuary is a great place to relax with all that South Fremantle has to offer on your doorstep.

The Sanctuary is a Klopper architect designed home with mezzanine bedroom, exposed industrial steel span trusses and reclaimed timbers plus bespoke glass art that will delight.

WIFI, parking, king bed, air conditioning, smart tv.

Original timber floors, recycled brick feature walls, soaring raked ceilings with exposed industrial steel trusses and porcelain floor tiles compliment the modern décor.

The kitchen with dishwasher, wall oven, induction cooking and masses of cupboard space is fully stocked with crockery, cutlery, glassware, cookware and some pantry items. Breakfast bar living or long work station with bar stools.

Stone top vanity with glass basin. Custom made oval spa bath offering the perfect indulgence after a hectic day. WC and walk in shower or shower in complete privacy outside!

The Sanctuary has an abundance of natural light and overlooks the tranquil and secluded rear garden and courtyard.

Alison was responsive to every message and wonderfully helpful when we arrived including tips on where to eat. She operates a gift and clothing shop in the same building with the best linen and wool/cotton and alpaca/possum clothing. The free bus into the Fremantle CBD is in front of The Sanctuary with service every 10-15 minutes.

Beautiful flat with garden. Very well maintained, everything you need for a wonderful stay is there. Short distance to the beach. Very nice cafés, restaurants and shops around. The bus stops right outside the door to take you to the train station. Simply wonderful.

It was great to see the nesting Gallahs in the courtyard, and hear the frogs in the pond. Great food was within walking distance in all directions.The bed was comfy and the place had every amenity we needed. If you visit, make sure you can navigate stairs at night, since the bed is in the loft and bathroom downstairs. The host. Allison, was super friendly.

Beautiful property in the best location. Maybe not the best choice for a long term stay though, unless you are out during the day. The accommodation shares a wall with a shop at the front which can be quite noisy and distracting at times if you are trying to work or relax. Also doesn't seem to be equipped for longer term stays. We stayed 46 nights and there was no interim cleaning provided, only one set of sheets and towels provided and consumables such as bin bags, toilet rolls etc were only provided for a few days so we had to provide our own.Owner / property manager is a great communicator though, the garden is lovely and I would recommend it as a place to stay short term.

A great spot in South Fremantle

We loved the position of the apartment. It was very well set up throughout and had everything you needed in terms of the kitchen, comfy lounge etc. We didn’t realise how difficult it would be to navigate the stairs however - the bed was upstairs and the bathroom and toilet etc were downstairs. We are in our 70’s so should have realised it would be a problem for us! Garden needed a bit of help but a lovely place to sit and ponder. Our host was very nice and helpful during our stay.

All good. Host was close to and very helpful. Needs a little bit of TLC in the garden. Ideal for the beach. Everything is there that you need. Only spoilt by the neighbours dogs barking everytime you moved. A quiet G&T in the private garden was not possible. Otherwise good stay. Close to shops and a nice cafe.

Brilliant birthday treat!

Lovely 3 day stay to celebrate my birthday. The Sanctuary truly lived up to its name and allowed us to explore Fremantle - particularly South Fremantle - at our leisure. Such a treat for us to walk everywhere and enjoy the cafes, restaurants and interesting shops of Freo, whilst having the beautiful and very comfortable Sanctuary to return to. We'll be back!

A true Sanctuary

A spacious and peaceful haven in the midst of South Freo. We really enjoyed our week here. The house has everything you could want. Loads of places to eat and drink within easy walking distance. One minor downside is the parking - very small space around the corner from the entrance to the property. However there is loads of on-street parking as well.

Well documented, lived up to its reviews, lots to love. Only complaint that the aircon is not able to cope with the climate and the fan is noisy. The bed is situated under the eaves so hot air gets trapped. We moved the bed to increase airflow so that improved the situation a little.

Fantastic location, beautifully presented, all amenities you could possibly need, comfortable bed, amazing giant spa bath (think Pretty Woman) and great communication with owner. Downside for us was no curtains in the bedroom and the bathroom was downstairs, while your bedroom and clothes were upstairs, a mirror upstairs would be beneficial. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay :)

Perfect and that little bit different

The Studio is exactly as presented on Stayz. Love the furnishings, style and innovative design. The loft bedroom is perfect for a couple or single. The bathroom is downstairs and it’s best to leave a light on if getting up in the night is required. Love the sheets, one thing missing a face washer. The side light would be good if it came on earlier as you enter. The location is fabulous, we love south freo and it’s a nice walk to Fremantle. The courtyard makes the outlook very relaxing. Highly recommend and would love to return.

Really well appointed apartment. Right in the best part of Fremantle. Close to restaurants, cafes and the beach all in walking distance. Lovely and quiet with outdoor seating to enjoy the lovely fresh ocean air. I would highly recommend this apartment to all my friends.

Great location

Perfect stay for a couple. Can become hot and stuffy in the upstairs bedroom (open plan), however (noisy) ceiling fan and air con available. Great location ~ everything within walking distance. Franks gourmet butcher was excellent. It would have been nice to have face washers, tissues and champagne glasses availablr however the kitchen was fully equipped. Great decor. Would highly recommend.
