The space
Enjoy the quiet beauty of the surrounding nature, with boat access to Pelican Lake and a fantastic lakeside yard for outdoor fun and relaxation. Paddle Boards and Kayaks available to enjoy the lake and swimmable beach.
Situated blocks from the neighborhood boat launch, bring your boat and dock it at a private, secluded dock, steps from the back door.
Take a 4-minute drive or boat ride over (10 min walk), to Dockside Restaurant on Pelican Lake to enjoy good food, drinks and live music on their lakeside deck. Only a 7-minute drive to the Hockey Center, making it a cozy retreat for hockey tournament families in the winter.
Note from owners: We recently purchased and fully remodeled our dream get away. We are a family with 4 grown children, and enjoy family Olympics (bucket golf, corn hole, jarts included), lounging/swimming on the beach with chairs for 10+. Or just having morning coffee on the brand-new Primary Bedroom deck and watching loons in the channel. We hope you enjoy as much as we do!
It is important to understand that our private beach is lakeside and we have an easement to walk around the protected channel to get to it.

We provide an online guidebook packed with helpful information and links to make vacation planning easy! This guidebook is sent out immediately after the full booking process is completed. Guests love itâit includes over 10 videos showcasing the home and its amenities, along with detailed instructions and tips. We kindly ask that it`s shared with all adults staying at the property.
Plus, every guest has our personal cell number and is encouraged to call or text us anytime, 24/7, with questions or anything they might need.
Guests will have access to the whole property. Door codes are sent via text three days before the check in date.

General House Rules Overview to Share with Your Group

âą Enjoyment with Respect: We want you to have a great time! Our guidelines are designed to ensure the safety of guests, respect for neighbors, and the preservation of our property. Please share these rules with your group to avoid fines (up to $500) or eviction without a refund. Refer to your rental contract for more details.
âą Consideration for Neighbors: Please be mindful of our neighbors, as they didn`t choose to live next to a rental. Maintaining good relationships with them is crucial for the success of our short-term rental. Neighbors have 24/7 access to contact us for any concerns.
âą No Smoking or Vaping Indoors: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the property.
âą No Fireworks: The use of fireworks on the property or beach is not allowed.
âą Pet Rules: (note most properties do not allow pets- if the property you rented does, make sure it is registered through the booking process and follow the following guidelines)
o Keep pets off carpeted areas; any damage may result in additional charges.
o Pets must be included in your reservation and generally should not exceed 80 lbs (unless pre-approved).
o Crate pets if left alone and keep them on a leash unless the yard is fenced.
o No more than two dogs per reservation; no pets on beds or furniture.
o Clean up feces after your pets; failure to do so will incur a $100 fee.
âą No Illegal Drugs or Illicit Activity: Absolutely no drugs or illegal activities are permitted on the property.
âą Prohibited Messes: Confetti, glitter, balloons, and silly string are not allowed on the property.
âą No Lake or Beach Debris: Dispose of garbage properly to avoid environmental harm and neighbor complaints.
âą Septic System Care: Only toilet paper and human waste should be flushed in properties with a septic system.
âą Garbage Disposal: Please follow the designated garbage pickup schedule and ensure trash is out on the appropriate day.
âą Registered Guests Only: Only registered guests are allowed on the property after dark.
âą Neighbor or Police Call Prevention: Adhering to rules helps avoid complaints about excessive guests, noise, pet violations, or parking issues.
âą No Excessive or Indecent Noise: Neighbors can contact us 24/7 with noise complaints. Quite times are 10 to 9.
âą Restricted Substances: Self-tanning lotion, nail polish, and remover are prohibited as they can permanently damage linens and furniture.
âą No Indoor Fish Cleaning: Cleaning fish inside the property is not allowed.
âą Extra Daytime Guests: Any additional daytime guests must be pre-approved and must leave by nightfall.
âą Parking Limitations: Parking is limited to one vehicle per bedroom. No parking on public roads or in yards.
âą Amenity Use: For liability reasons, only registered guests are permitted to use the property amenities.
âą Boat Docking: Ensure boats are removed from the dock in bad weather to avoid damage. Some properties do not allow overnight docking.
âą ATV & Snowmobile Usage: Please review specific property regulations regarding motorized vehicles.
âą No Firearm Use: While we respect your rights, firearms are not permitted at the property.
âą Outdoor Fires: Ensure all outdoor fires are completely extinguished after use.
âą Safe Grill Use: Check grease traps before grilling and clean if necessary, during extended stays to prevent fires.
âą Life Jackets Required: While we do not provide watercraft, guests must wear life jackets when using water amenities.
âą No Large Gatherings or Parties: Events, parties, or meetings are not allowed without prior written approval.
âą Security Cameras: Some properties have security cameras. These are not accessed during guest stays, but recordings may be used in legal situations.
âą Occupancy Limits: Exceeding the maximum sleeping capacity, engaging in illegal activities, causing property damage, or disturbing neighbors will result in eviction and forfeiture of fees and deposits.
