New for Summer 2025, our fully renovated & interior designed traditional fisherman's cottage. Quietly tucked away in the centre of Mousehole, it's a fabulous retreat for couples or families seeking a luxury break just steps from the harbour, beaches, galleries and Mousehole's best places to eat and drink.

With a sunny courtyard and large inglenook with wood burner, it's perfect for all seasons.

Full fibre broadband and a homeworking area make it ideal for those who need to work whilst away.

The space:
Whip up a culinary feast in the brand new kitchen featuring a premium range cooker with oven and induction hob, eat alfresco in the private courtyard garden or curl up in front of the big inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove in the cozy sitting room; 1 Wellington Place makes the perfect luxury retreat in summer or winter.

Fancy a local beer in a traditional Cornish pub, or eating fresh seafood in one of the highly rated restaurants dotted around the harbour? Stroll less than a minute to Mousehole’s selection of casual and fine dining venues. Also within a few steps are 2 safe sandy beaches for children to make sand castles or swim, and a selection of independent cafes and art galleries.

For something more active, Mousehole is on the celebrated South West Coast Path, Britain's longest footpath. For the less energetic, Mousehole boasts one of Cornwall's best bus services which leaves from the harbour every 20mins into trendy Newlyn or Penzance.

Stunning beaches at Porthcurno, Sennen and Carbis Bay are all within a short drive.


Living Space:

The spacious yet cozy sitting room features exposed beams, an original window seat and a large inglenook fireplace with wood burner. It oozes character and leads into the fabulous brand new kitchen which has patio doors opening onto the private courtyard.

There is a premium Bertazzoni range cooker with induction hob, large fridge, dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle and cafetiere. The dining table has seating for 4 guests.

The cottage also boasts a separate cozy snug with exposed beams, a feature (non-working) fireplace, sofa and another window seat. This room features an antique bureau, and with full fibre broadband makes for a perfect separated workspace for those who may need to work whilst away.

There are 2 light and spacious bedrooms, one a large double room and a second that has twin beds (small singles) which can be configured as a king size bed on request.

The is a sumptuous new bathroom with luxury fittings, including a roll top bath with an overhead mains water pressure shower.

The cottage is central heated throughout plus wood burning stove. We provide logs for your first fire in the cooler seasons.


Outside:

The cottage boasts a private sunny patio courtyard, perfect for enjoying an evening drink or eating alfresco. There is also a large and secure undercover area with separate side access for safely storing cycles or kayaks etc. Lastly there is a vintage bench outside of the front of the cottage to enjoy a morning coffee watching Mousehole wake up.
Guest access
Cottage accessed by front door, and side door into the private courtyard garden.

You'll have access to the entire property.

The side access leads to a large undercover courtyard area, prefect for secure bike or kayak storage.
Other things to note
Full Fibre broadband is provided, together with a smart TV.

All towels and linen provided, which can be changed mid way for stays of 2 weeks or more

Hairdryer, iron, ironing board, high chair and travel cot provided.

Sorry no pets.

We regret there is no smoking, BBQ's or candles within the property or anywhere on the premises due to the fire regulations.
