Thereâs something for everyone at this striking holiday home, making it a fine choice for a fun-filled break with friends or family. Located within the leafy Porthcurno Valley, it sits less than a mile from two world-class sites: the iconic Minack Theatre â where performers entertain beneath the stars and subtropical gardens thrive â and a stunning beach where gorgeous white sands are lapped by crystal-clear water. Leave your cars on the driveway and explore the village and surrounding coastal landscape at your own pace. Alternatively, follow the South West Coast Path as it connects the village to other important landmarks including Landâs End (3.5 miles by road) to the west, Mousehole (8 miles) and then Penzance (8.5 miles) to the east. For adventures further afield, passenger ferries depart from Penzance for the Isles of Scilly â close enough for a day trip. Vibrant St Ives, on Cornwallâs Atlantic coastline, is a 17-mile cross-country drive.
Bursting with kerb appeal, this impressive holiday property has its own driveway that sweeps up from the winding valley lane to the front door. Step through the grand entrance and the hallway has a hand-built staircase to the first floor, there is a stair lift available to the first floor, plus to the right, a spacious gym with cardio equipment and a rainfall shower in one corner. A separate cloakroom adds to the convenience on this floor, while to the left of the staircase, the games room has a full-sized pool table and workspace. Follow the stairs to the first floor and the fabulous open-plan living space is sure to be a hive of social activity. Unwind in the lounge area where thereâs a choice of sofas, armchairs and a Smart TV. Exposed structural beams and a timber-clad ceiling create a cosy vibe which continues in the adjacent dining area. Here, a long table and mixed seating is positioned before two pairs of patio doors which lead onto a veranda that runs along the entire exterior of this level. Thereâs an additional dining suite in the beautiful, bespoke kitchen where youâll find all the essentials for large-party catering plus a door onto the rear garden. Completing the first-floor layout is a king-size bedroom and a family shower room. Up another flight of stairs there are four more bedrooms: two king-size rooms and two triple bedrooms, the latter with direct access to Jack and Jill-style shower rooms.
To the rear of the house, thereâs a patio terrace just outside the kitchen, plus a pathway leading up to lawned area and an open-sided summerhouse with seating. Thereâs a separate archway seating area, and the lovely views over the stone wall to the farmland beyond. This rear garden has sideway access to the front driveway where thereâs space to park up to five cars.
