Black Bear Lodge near Dupont State Forest

Welcome to Black Bear Lodge, a 2 bedroom/2 bath rustic log cabin home!  Located less than 5 miles from Dupont State Forest, this home is also ideally situated for convenient access to Downtown Brevard, Pisgah National Forest, Hendersonville, and Asheville.  Upon arrival to Black Bear Lodge, guests are greeted by a flat driveway and covered parking for 2 cars, plus open parking space for additional cars.

The main entrance of Black Bear Lodge opens into the kitchen and living areas.  The kitchen is complete with a farm sink, stainless steel appliances, and all the dishes and cookware needed during your stay. The living area offers a gas log fireplace with stone chimney, a large SmartTV, and multiple seating options.  An additional seating area off the living room is perfect for board games or reading during your stay!

One bedroom and one bathroom are located on the main floor of Black Bear Lodge.  The main floor bedroom is home to a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with dual sinks and walk-in shower.

As you travel upstairs, the open loft area welcomes you and offers a queen-sized Murphy bed.  The cabin's second bedroom is located upstairs and is complete with a king-sized bed and private sitting room.  The upstairs bathroom is home to dual sinks and a walk-in shower.

The covered porch at Black Bear Lodge offers rocking chairs, where guests can enjoy their morning coffee before a day of adventure or relax after a day in the forest.  A gas grill is included for guests aiming to cook out during their trip.

As your host during your stay, White Squirrel Realty is easy to reach by text or phone.  Each home is supplied with fresh, professionally laundered linens and supplies to make your stay comfortable.  Confirmed guests will receive a text message to the cell phone number on file, with a link to the essential information you will need to enjoy your stay, like the door code and directions.  The digital guidebook has information on the property and also on the area, including restaurants, grocery stores, and popular destinations.  Guests may go straight to the property they have reserved at check-in time.
